Coldwater Golf Club
Played On 01/05/2024Poorly designed & conditions
This course had too much waste area and was inconsistently maintained. For every good hole, there was 3 bad holes. The $90 fee was triple what it should have been. It’s a total price gouge ripoff. One of the worst courses We’ve ever played. Avoid this goat track at all costs.
San Juan Hills Golf Club
Played On 12/06/2016A fun course
First time playing course. A short tract w/ a few hilly holes & a couple of funky unconventional fairways. Overall it was fun & I would play it again. My partners are very long hitters & from the blues they easily hit most greens in regulation. Try it, you will like it!
Primm Valley Golf Club - Lakes Course
Played On 04/09/2015Nice Masters Week Round
Perfect venue for one of our 3 course Masters week buddies trip. Where else can you play a wonderful Tom Fazio course for a great GolfNow hot deal of $100 for a foursome? We had a blast. Course in great condition and a super friendly staff. We played the lakes course, which was very challenging for our group of good golfers. Primm is a bit out of the way but well worth the 30 mile drive from Vegas. Really fun course.
Primm Valley Golf Club - Desert Course
Played On 03/05/2015This Course is Challenging
Really enjoyed my round. The Fazio design featured a plethora of fairway and greeside bunkers which were intimidating to the eye but rarely came into play. The fairways were pretty sparse for a resort course and bare tight lies were the norm throughout the round. With better grounds management, this could be a 5 star tract. Some holes are simply breathtaking and challenging to play. The hot deal green fee was a great bargain. I would not pay walk in rate because of course condition. The practice facility was superb, especially the short game range. The clubhouse was awesome and we had excellent breakfast.
I would highly recommend Primm for fun day of golf if you can get a deal. Try to avoid a windy day.
Desperado/Diablo at Badlands Golf Club
Played On 02/17/2015Overrated Course
Badlands is a very average course that is typical of any Johnny Miller type tract. Narrow fairways, too many waste areas, blind tee shots and poorly designed greens. Course not in great shape. Many brwn or bare spots on fairways. I typically lose 1 ball per 2 rounds. I lost 8 ball at Badlands. This course Severely penalizes even the slightest off center shots. Simply put, Badlands is no fun to play, so there is no reason to play it because Southern Nevada and Utah are full of great courses to choose from. Skip this one for your next outing!
Conestoga Golf Club
Played On 12/19/2014Fun & Challenging Course
Have played Conestoga 4-5 times recently due to terrific fee hot deals from GolfNow. Besides loving 80% discounts, I really enjoy this magnificent course. From the excellent practice facility to the beautiful desert vistas, Conestoga is 1st rate. The course is challenging but fair. Probably not a good course for a hacker as it demands to keep balls in play. The waste areas equal lost balls. For decent golfers this course is a gem.
Bloomington Country Club
Played On 12/15/2014Great Golf Value
Very nice un-crowded old style country club course. Un-beatable deal on GolfNow hot deal ($20) includes cart. Course in great shape w/wide tree-lined fairways and fast greens. 5 tee boxes allow play for all skill levels. All things considered, you won't find a better golf experience in scenic southern Utah in December! It's my best kept golfing secret!
Green Spring Golf Course
Played On 10/01/2014Very Scenic Course in "Color Country"
A fairly challenging course in beautiful condition in the distant shadows of Zion NP. The scenic mountain vistas are colorful and breathtaking. Some carries are over deep canyons and the greens are fast and fair. I am a decent golfer but my 75 yr old self struggled on some holes from the senior tees. It's a good test for any golfer. My 7 hndcp. Son struggled a bit from the tips. We were behind some slow seniors, so the rnd was nearly 5 hrs. We usually play 18 holes in 3 to 3 1/2hrs. For $39 the rnd was an excellent value and cart was included. I did lose six balls which is rare for me. You cannot go wrong playing Green spring using GolfNow.com for excellent rates.
St. George Golf Club
Played On 03/07/2014Good course but lacks facilities
A nice lengthy flat course w/excellent greens. Really fun to play. Course has no driving range and the snack bar is closed. The par 4's are fairly short, the par 3's are long, and the par 5s are a fair length. From blue tees course is challenging but fair. Even the white tees test older 15 hndcpers. A thoroughly enjoyable golf experience.
Sun River Golf Club
Played On 01/20/2014Course very player friendly
Wide fairways and 5 seperate tee boxes with nice greens allow for all skill levels to enjoy Sunriver GC. Nice range and practice facility along w excellent restaurant/bar.
Canyons at Oasis Golf Club
Played On 9/29/2013Excellent course for novices to experts.
I've played the Canyons several times but this was the best course condition ever. Immaculate, fast greens, lush fairways, perfect weather and great playing partners constituted an ideal golf outing.
Sunbrook Golf Club - The Point/Woodbridge Course
Played On 9/18/2013course wet and muddy
Course was in the middle of overseeding and it shouldn't have booked golfers because it was soggy and muddy and cart path only. I certainly wouldn't have booked a tee time if they would have informed ahead of time. One of my worst golf experiences. I don't recommend Sunbrook as there are far better courses in the area.
The Ledges Golf Club
Played On 10/31/2012beautiful scenery
great Matt Dye design that is really manageable for golfers of any level. My favorite course in the great southwest. Play it!
