The course overall was in very good condition. While it's not a long course, it is a pretty tight layout which places a premium on tee shots. The undulations are challenging but expected given the geography of the area. The greens roll true but the slopes can really make it challenging. Overall, I would recommend the course.

This is a great course however, the pace of play was pretty slow. We waited on every hole as tee times were stacked tightly. No course Ranger to be found all day. The staff was extremely friendly and there is a great driving range for your warm up.

One of the best golf experiences in the valley. The views are spectacular on the back 9. The front 9 is good and a nice warm up for the back 9.

If you have to choose between the Stadium Course and the Nicklaus Course, play the Stadium. The Nicklaus is not in great shape considering the other courses in the area. The staff at the course almost seemed offended that we purchased our tee time via GolfNow.

Incredible course and at a great value! Hawk's Eye is one of the most challenging and visually appealing courses in Northern Michigan!! In my opinion, it's a MUST play when you are in the area. Better than the Legend and many of the other courses in the area. Absolutely the best value as well.

Played this course with my two sons. They are fairly new golfers and the course was a perfect combination of challenging and player-friendly. We rented two sets of clubs for them and they were high quality Callway irons/woods. The course was in great shape, staff was super-friendly, and we had no issues with pace of play. Will definitely add it to the list the next time we are out in Palm Desert.
