Great desert beauty and enjoyable golf

Enjoyed the desert scenery and variety of this course. It’s relatively short but challenging. Front 9 is especially scenic. Short game is important here. Enjoyed a lovely lunch and drinks at historic Tonto Grill after golf. Cartwright s original ranch was here.

Big disappointment

The course was a big disappointment at every level. For a course in Scottsdale, the scenery was pathetic. Very little of the desert beauty that marks most courses in this area. Power lines and defunct aqueduct are eyesores. The course was boring- most holes like a bowling alley. Very overpriced for what you get and then they charge fir range balls. We will not go back on future trips.

Beautiful course layout and scenic desert beauty

This course was our favorite! It was beautifully manicured and the beauty of the desert was woven into every hole. It was challenging but fair. We will golf here on each of our trips to the area.
