Good practice course

Course was in pretty decent shape. Staff is friendly. No soap in women's washroom. Windy especially at those hilltop tee boxes. Slow pace of play because the juniors camp kids were out. Would definitely come again to work on my short game, but maybe when it's a little quieter.

Saw a pair of peregrine falcons around hole 5!

Rough conditions

What I like: length and challenges of the course. The staff was nice.

What I don't like: the course conditions are really really rough, geese droppings everywhere, and more than a couple spots that require blind shots. Not a lot of elevation changes. The greens had big bare patches exposing cracked soil, the fairways were weedy and rough. Almost as bad as another Brampton course whose name starts with a C. Consider yourself forewarned.

disappointing

More weeds and dry cracked patches than grass. Website and online descriptions are misleading. The conditions were more than "rough". If they fix the greens, it could be a fun course. As it is, it is not worth the time it takes to play it.

this is very sad to hear
once the great Moe Norman wandered these greens
I first knew it as 27 holes laid out east of airport rd
the old clubhouse, curling club and tennis courts met at the curb by young golfers working the back shop. I marshalled there a number of years before the "new" clubhouse was built and a few after, where is that green staff that took pride in a great track? Adam? Bill?
