‘Course staff was very friendly and helpful. I heard new there is new management. They paired me up with a local which helped me navigate through the course. Food is very limited drinks are ok. I would bring both next time if I’m back in Sarasota. Pace was slow. 4.5 hours for a round. Tee boxes are a mess. Greens were in pretty good shape. Fairways were mowed and take care of. I would play the course again.

Course conditions were pretty ruff near the greens. Time of year I guess. There was a lot of dry spots cut out. No beverage cart, no outside water, come prepared. Would have been nice to know the conditions before booking.

Greens were in good condition. Fairways a little ruff due to lack of rain. All greens are elevated and have a decent slope. Very challenging. No water just sand waste areas. Not to easy to find your ball if you are unlucky .Staff was very accommodating and nice. I was there at day break. Made it through in less than 2.5 hours. No one in front of me. I would play there again.

We were in Baton Rouge for a conference. There was 3 of us playing. One of group needed to rent clubs. They didn't have much of a selection. So the Course Manager loaned us his personal set. Amazing! The other staff members were students and very friendly as well.

The course play was slow. Real slow. The foursome ahead of us must have been alumni. We complained and no one did anything. The course manager was gone. Our tee time was at 12:40 and around 3:30 pm was passed the foursome at #11. It was horrible. The group ahead of them was 2 holes ahead. They complained, someone came out, and we were told to wait for them to catch up and get right behind them. We left because we didn't have any flashlights with us! Never finished the round. When in Baton Rouge play Santa Maria. Great course and pace of play.
