Don't worry about playing this course.. The City of Hollywood is closing it to build more houses.. Just what the area needs.. This was one of the best public courses for many years and it is painful to see it in such a rundown state and as of June 30th will cease to exist..

PBN had gone down hill for awhile but is back!!! This is probably one of the best public courses in SFL / Palm Beach.. The greens where rolling beautifully, the fairways were maintained, and the tee boxes were solid.. As I always I suggest to play from the appropriate tees especially if weather is an issue as this will make your round much more enjoyable..

Sugarcane is a great course for all levels but don't go out there with a country club attitude. There really is no dress code or amenities and people just come to play golf. When this course is in shape it is fantastic and will give you all you can handle.. The front nine will allow you to warm up for the back 9 (MONSTER) which usually feels like you are in a wind test tunnel.
Enjoy the time, look around and see who can spot the most interesting wildlife..

The only problem with this course at this time are the greens which are under repair. Other than that this course is great for all levels.. Play from the proper tees and have fun..

This is a fantastic course that requires good shots and course management. Make sure to play from the appropriate tees..

If you want something different in South Florida, then you have found it. This course is fantastic and will provide a challenge to all levels of play. Some of the fairways and tee boxes are a little beat up but the greens were in good shape and wicked fast. The views are spectacular on some holes with 50-100' elevation changes and if you took a picture most people would not believe you were in Palm Beach County. Tons of blind shots so play with someone who has played there before and chose your target lines well...BEWARE the occasional methane smell (It was a landfill for goodness sake) as it comes and goes but will not make you run for your car.. Remember don't be afraid to tee it forward, especially on this course to help maximize the fun.

This is only a 9 hole course at this time but the plans to add another 9 are in the works. The first tee box is comical as it is just off the side of the driving range and just seems to be there in the field. The rest of them are clearly marked and defined. This course allows for some really good shot making and some bailing out. The wind will play havoc with you on this course. This is a fun little Par 36 course

This has to be one of the best courses in South Florida.
It is very challenging even from the forward green tees and I would suggest that you play from a yardage that you feel very comfortable with. The views and wildlife are spectacular and one should look around while on the course and enjoy them.

This is a fantastic course and a must play in South Florida. Look for a hot deal rate on Golf Now and enjoy it even more. The course is well maintained and offers a layout that can challenge all levels of golfers. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife like peacocks, parrots, and furry creatures and a manatee has even been spotted in the canals before.

This is a fantastic course and will challenge most golfers. At this point however conditions are derterioating which is saddening.
The fairways are super tight with weeds and repairs. The tee boxes are getting beat up and the greens are showing signs of trouble.
