The back nine left something to be desired

We came through a "member for a day" promotion from GolfNow. Overall this course was pretty decent. The front is pretty fun. Different terrain and types of holes. Holes 10 and 11 are also pretty good. Then you get to hole 12, you look around, and there are just dozens of golfers all around because the next 5 holes are all jammed right together, and all with narrow fairways. And these are not great caliber golfers here either. So we had to wait for several people to play through our fairways before we could play. This is also where we started waiting because the holes were getting backed up. The other thing I didn't like is how the yardage is marked. Markers are difficult to find during course play. If the "member for a day" promo was to try and intice newcomers, I would have to say I would not join this club. But if you want to try something new it's worth a round just for variety.

Great course, staff could use some "Be friendly" classes

The course has always been great. The range used to be free if you were playing 18, not anymore. The guy in the pro shop could be a little friendlier. He acted like I was really putting him out when I asked for a sandwich. By the way, don't ever order a sanwich from here. 2 slices of wheat bread, 3 very thin slices of turkey, and a Kraft American single, that's it, $5.00.
