I know it's that time of year when courses are over seeding so expected course to be in poor condition and it was. The front 9 was closed so we played back nine twice which contributed to congestion at the 10th tee and slow pace of play on the course.
The course is in poor condition at this time so I would not pay top dollar to play here again until the seeding takes hold.
That being said the staff were all very friendly and I've always liked the course layout. If I can get a discounted green fee I'd play here again but I would check to see if both nines are open before I played.

I have played this course before and enjoyed it but this is the first time this year. I played in the afternoon and there were only a few other players on the course so I played a really fast pace. It could be due to the summer heat but the greens are in poor condition. Hole number one was a temporary. The other 17 greens were dried out, had lots of bare spots and patches that have been sanded. I will not play here again until the greens have been repaired.

Greenfield is a short course but fun to play as several holes have water to challenge your shot making skills.
The only problem I have with this course is the slow pace of play which I've encountered here consistently.
Seems there are always beginners playing here who don't know about letting faster players play through. We get stuck behind a group who are clueless that they have empty holes in front of them and there are players behind them waiting on every shot. The course marshal drives around in his cart but doesn't appear to do much to speed up the slow play. Two of the last three rounds here I've skipped a hole to get past one of these slow groups.

I've played here numerous times and never seen it in such poor condition. There must be a problem with irrigation system as fairways, tee boxes and greens are brown / dead.
This is usually a great course but they are obviously having problems now and I would not recommend playing here until they are fixed.

I've been golfing for 50 years and encountered a first during my round. Someone in a group ahead of us had their dog with them. It didn't appear to be a service dog, they just had it out for a walk during their round? This course is very rough. If you ride in a cart be aware of all the dips and holes throughout the course it can really jar you if you aren't paying attention. The back nine can be very difficult if you don't hit straight you will be looking for balls in the woods. This is an ok place to play if you are looking for an inexpensive place to bang the ball around but don't expect anything more.

This is a great place to play if you're looking for a short course. The greens were really slow but probably hadn't been mowed due to recent heavy rain. Friendly staff and good bargain for golf in Phoenix area this time of year.

This is a good course to practice short game but be ready to wait on "new" players who don't know about letting faster players through.
