Silverbell Municipal Golf Course
Played On 03/23/2016Good value
Friendly staff and a windy day made for a pretty fast round as there were not a lot of golfers out. Course was a little dry and bunkers were mostly hard packed sand/mud, but not too bad otherwise. Greens were in good shape. I paid $40 including tax and a cart, so for the money, it was a pretty good deal.
El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Pusch X9 Course
Played On 03/24/2015Can't Wait to Play Again
Excellent value through GolfNow. Beautiful course with elevated and descending greens. The bunkers are unplayable after a recent flood, but as soon as the insurance claim is settled, they will be fixed. Really is a best kept secret of the best 9 hole course around Tucson. There are even a couple of Par 5's that you can use your driver off the tee. I can't wait to play this course again.
Dorado Country Club
Played On 03/20/2015Value golf for beginner
i played 9 holes for $12 and it was fun. The clubhouse is run down and it looks like the owner isn't planning on remodeling because the upper clubhouse is all boarded up, but would have liked to see it when it was new. Fairways and greens are in good shape, however, there is construction on the course and lots of earth movers and detours on back 9. I would hate to see it redeveloped with new homes as it is an oasis in the middle of town. They actually have 18 holes, not just 9 that you play twice. Mostly short par 3's, but what do you want for $12?
