The course conditions were top notch. The greens were immaculate. Most fairways were wide and attainable. The staff was great, and got us off early which helped with the threatening weather. Played the 767 yard 18th from the tips, and it was a true 4 shot hole to get to the green. Fun course, and we’ll be back.

The course is interesting and challenging. But parts of it are downright quirky. For example, the Par 5 fifth hole is 350 yards. I teed off with a 9 iron to keep in front of the lake. Hit 2 good shots to get right in front of the green, only to find out the there was no way to keep my chip shot anywhere close to the pin because it was tucked in the extreme right corner of the green. It seemed like the greenskeeper had a bad day. A number of the pins were not easily accessible at all.
Pace of play was a problem too. The front nine was almost 3 hours. We never saw a ranger. We quit after 11 holes and 3.5 hours of our time. We couldn’t take it anymore.
We will not likely play again.

Timacuan is a scenic course, but it can be pretty tough. Greens hold well, but are extremely fast. Difficult if you are on the wrong side of the hole. A good variety of holes. A good deal of water on the back nine.

We liked the layout of the course. It is a links course, so there are not a lot of trees. Unlike most courses in Florida, there is not a lot of water either. There are a lot of sand traps on the course though.
The main problem we had is that the greens are small, sometimes odd-shaped, and didn't hold. The course is dry and the wind was blowing, so it was difficult to get the ball to stop on the greens. I hit 4 balls that hit the front of the greens, only to go off the back, sometimes into a sand trap.
We do plan to play again. Maybe sometime when the course is playing a littler softer.

Good day of golf at Big Cypress. Course is in great shape. Greens are lush and stop the ball well--putt very true. Front is on the shorter side on the front if you play the white tees. Back tends to be more challenging with more water than on the front. I'll definitely be back.

A very difficult course to find your way around. It is located in Orange Lake Resort. Once you get inside the resort, there are no signs which show you where the Reserve course is located. Once you finally find it in a building entitled "Marketplace", you then have to find your way 100 yards past a number of buildings and condos, with signage at a minimum, to get to first tee . You are given no course map, and no layout of each hole on the scorecard. It gets worse. There was a card on the overhead dash showing pin placements. However, the ACTUAL pin placements have no relation to what is shown on the card. When I questioned the starter about this at the turn, he said: "Well, maintenance puts the pins wherever they want to." WHAT!!! It paid $51 for this round and they can't even get the pins in the right places on the greens! Because there's a lot of hidden traps, lakes, ditches, etc..., it's pretty hard to know where to hit the ball unless you play there a lot since you have no course layout. Also, the course is surrounded by timeshare condos, many of which are too close to the course.
Spend your $50 at a better course.

We had not played Willowbrook before. The overall conditions are good. Fairways are green, and the greens are in great shape. The starter, Jesse, was very helpful. It was very crowded but it moved along such that we finished the round in 4 hours. Only negatives are that it's compact, so there tends to be balls and golfers from other holes in your fairway. Also, the greens are small putting a premium on chipping to elevated greens. Definitely worth the money though.

We like playing this course because it's so scenic. It is very hilly by Florida standards, but you can literally see for miles. Holes are interesting, no two alike. Unfortunately, the fairways are rock hard and somewhat barren. Also didn't understand why most of the pins on the back nine were placed within 5 feet of the edge of the greens? This will become one of my favorite courses if the condition significantly improves.

This is obviously an older Orlando course. Trees are mature and some places on the course are rather tight. We didn't really like the fairways. They were patchy with a good deal of hardpan. The greens were good though. Finished the round in 4 hours, which was good considering the amount of players on the course. Sandtraps were pretty good.

We enjoy playing this course, because it's not too long for my wife. The condition is improving. Greens are a little patchy, so you're not sure of the speed on many of the putts. GPS doesn't work on the back nine due to the total redesign of the back nine.

Really liked the Oaks layout. It was my first time playing the Oaks side. Condition was very good. The greens were fast, but I found the Bermuda to be tough to read.

The greens on this course are very nice. They hold well and putt smooth and true. However, many of the tees are barren and need work. The front nine of the course is pretty tough. Holes 1-3 are very tight. Hole 9 is a J-shaped par 5 and was tough into the wind. Back nine was more open, but plenty of water.
Overall, I liked the course and would play it again.

The overall layout of the Cypress course is interesting. It is very tight on many of the front nine holes. Plenty of dogleg rights which doesn't work so well with my hook swing. Course condition was pretty good, with the exception of the greens. The greens were very inconsistent. Some had big patches of recently planted grass, some had sections of little grass at all. The back nine greens were better, but were shabby in spots, making it difficult to judge the speed.
Also, not sure why there was no drink cart or halfway house on a course in which Hole 9 didn't come back to the clubhouse.

The course condition is really nice. Greens are not large, but they hold and are very true to putt on. The course is not long, but has enough sand and water to be a challenge. Only complaint was that it was very slow and crowded, particularly on the front nine. The front nine was about 3 hours. The back went a little quicker.

Course is in beautiful condition. Overall, the course is pretty tough, but fair. Only exception is the number 1 handicap hole, the par 5 number 17. The green is unfair on this hole. My partner hit his ball on the front of the green, where it stopped. We got into the cart, and by the time we got to the green, it had fallen off of the front of the green and into the water. I noted that there were approximately 50 balls in that small section of the lake. That green needs to be addressed. Other than that, it was a good day of golf.

Very interesting layout and great greens. The course was very wet due to 3" of rain the other day. It's somewhat short, but has enough water and sand to keep you focused. Always enjoy our day at Big Cypress.

Championsgate International is a true test of golf. I always say that holes 6 through 8 are the "Amen Corner" of that course. Great condition throughout. Only complaint is that there was a slow foursome in front of us, and no ranger to be found. Hence, we were not able to finish our round before dark.

We always enjoy playing Providence. A number of scenic and interesting holes. Overall condition is good. However, new greens were installed. They putt very fast and true. Unfortunately, they are as hard as a brick! We have run into this before in Florida with brand new greens. You can adjust to this to a certain extent, but very difficult on raised greens to keep the ball on the greens. Five times I hit the ball on the front of the green and still had it roll off the back. Yikes!

We have played Highlands Reserve in the past, and we think that the condition has improved. The greens were very good. The layout is not typical to Florida. It is somewhat hilly and there's not a lot of water, so it's scenic and not too tough to play for my wife. The only negative is that we had a slow 4 some in front of us. On the back nine, we had 3 groups waiting on a par 3. A ranger would have helped. Nonetheless, we will be back!

My wife and I enjoy playing this course. It's an executive course, par 61, but it is in very good condition. Greens are very good, fairways and tees are nice. The course is short, but there is plenty of water that will come back to bite you. Overall, and fun experience.
