All round this is a good course to play, friendly staff, condition good and a decent layout at an excellent price. We were staying on Hilton head so 20 or so miles to drive but we’ll worth it, so much so we played it twice in a week. The course has wide fairways with water on about half the holes but not daunting for the higher handicapper. Our 4 has a range of handicaps from 10 to 23 and the choice of tees made playing enjoyable for all.

Course in good condition and nice layout. If you're thinking of playing I don't think you'll be disappointed. Wildlife viewing for vacationers was awesome.

Having played 3 other courses in the area cypress was the best for overall enjoyment. Course condition and layout were ok. I play off 8 handicap and wife off 19 and we both enjoyed it. The only course we played that we would go back to.

Played 3 courses in the area while on vacation and this was by far the best not only in layout but after some heavy rain the condition was by far the best. Each hole different from the last and the next made fo an enjoyable round, so much so we played 3 times in a week. The course is tight'ish but playable for different abilities from different tees. We first went onto the putting green and I noticed a grass type I had not played before which looked corse and a bit bumpy but which putted fine. Not the fastest greens you will play on but after a couple of holes you got used to it and it wasn't an issue. Good carts, good value and friendly staff. If we are ever back in NSB we would certainly play the Preserve again.

We booked as a 4 with a voucher from a coupon book which the guy in the shop was reluctant to take but did after checking with someone else. Having paid he then told us that there were some cart restrictions which the starter would explain. The restrictions were essentially "cart path only" except ther wasn't a cart part so we had to stay outside a white line painted in the rough. Fair enough seeing that there had been a lot of rain. However to say the course was waterlogged would be an understatement. A guy playing behind us lost a shoe on the first fairway !
To put a ballance on the review it would be fair to say that the course layout was fairly good but the poor condition of the course, greens and bunkers really overshadowed this.

Course was reasonable in all aspects even after a lot of rain. We broke off our round to avoid a thunder storm and staff were helpfull in getting us back out.

Played the course after (and during) some heavy rain so the course suffered from this and applied "cart path only" rule. The greens had recently been punched and sanded so we didn't have a lot going for us however we didn't let this spoil our enjoyment of a great layout. Staff were very helpfull and allowed us to delay our start time to avoid the worst of the rain. Would look to play again whie back in the Orlando area

Wife and I played the course on 3 consecutive days if February when the weather was poor. We went back the secord and third day because we enjoyed it so much on our first visit. For the time of year the greens were in outstandingcondition. The carts are top notch and the GPS the best I have used. Staff were very accommodating. if I was to be picky my wife(19 handicap) found 3 of the holes a bit daunting with long shots to water guarded greens(2nd, 17th & 18th). I however (9 handicap) found them challanging but very playable. If you're thinking of playing then don't think any longer just go play !

Played the course on a cold day in February, and the course you would expect it to be in February. Greens a bit ropey, played preferred lies on fairway, tees a bit bare. However the course layout is OK and a challange with lots of wlevation changes. Got a good deal with golfnow so wasn't dissapointed with the course.

Played on a cold day in February. The course is a typical resort type course, tree lined fairways (mostly) with a bit of water. OK if you like this sort of course but having played it I would struggle to remember any particular hole. Having said that there wasn't anything to say that would put you off.

I am 9 and my wife is 19 handicap and we played Kingwood 3 times in 4 days. A short course (about 6000 yds) from the back tee but don't let that put you off. There are enough holes where you can hit driver to shorten tricky (dogleg) 4's or make 5's in two. Course condition pretty good eventhough greens had recently been airated but putted ok. Cart man very friendly with dood advice on other courses to think about playing. The only problem were the flies when playing holes through trees (probably the time of year) they were out in abundance and at times it was very unpleasent. An upside on the wild life was watching a 3 ft long black snake in the stream with guards the 16th green - awesome.

We had a problem with out tee booking (I booked the wrong day with golfnow) so called the course on the morning we wanted to play. They couldn't have been more helpfull "just come along at about 12.00 and we will fit you in", and they did. A good value course.

First impressions weren't good, weeds in car park pro shop and surrounding areas, bathrooms etc a bit run down. The course however was excellent. Full of character and in good enough condition although some tee boxes a bit rough. The last 8 holes are as good a stretch of holes that I have played in a very long time, with 14 & 15 first class. I am 9 and my wife 19 handicaps and we both throughly enjoyed the course. We payed $13 on a golfnow hot deal and felt a bit guilty of playing golf on such a good course for a fraction of what it is worth. Will certainty return.

Played in a shotgun start to make up a 4 some so got a good deal. Course is enjoyable with a good variation of holes. Some wide open with no trees but water to some tree lined fairly tight fairways and plenty of doglegs. So a good Florida course. However the greens were a bit bumpy and not up to the standard of others we played but were ok. I play off 8 and wife off 21 and we both enjoyed it

I thought the coursw was better than the Oaks but my wife enjoyed the Oaks more - so take your pick. Course in good nick with the greens certainly better than the Oaks. Nice variation of trees, water, doglegs some shorter but some longer holes. All in all a good days golf. I play off 8 and wife off 21 and we both enjoyed it.

Course and greens in fairly good nick. Not a particularly inspiring course but not one to avoid either. We got a good deal with golfnow and paid less than $30 for our round which was well worth it.
May well look to play it again on our next visit

Played the course early in our golf vacation and was ok for that - bit jet lagged and stiff after long flight so a good loosener. Played preferred lies because fairways were poor but that was manageable and greens were ok although some damage evident. Course a bit uninspiring
