Great Experience

Quintero feels like it is out in the middle of nowhere, probably because there is truth to that. I'd heard good things about Quintero and finally got the chance to play. The course condition was impeccable. There was literally not a blade of grass out of place. The greens had been punched a few weeks previous, but it had no impact on playability, although we were warned that they were playing a bit slower than usual. They were still slippery and fast but putted beautifully.

If you can't drive it straight, bring a spare bag of balls because you may very well need them. Having said that, the fairways tend to have bunkers protecting the edges of the fairways in your landing zone, so that helps keep the white orb on the earth. The bunkers were in perfect condition and it is impossible to get a bad lie on the fairways. As other reviews point out, the par threes are really something, all playing from elevated tees to generous greens. Really beautiful. I played the par threes two under, only because I dropped a couple unlikely putts from way downtown.

Summer rates made it a bargain to play. I will definitely be going back for more!

Always a great experience and value

Played the Wolf course from the blacks. The weather was just about perfect for golf, although there was a stiff wind blowing to begin the round which made it quite a bit more challenging. Greens must have recently been verticut and rolled, because they were smooth and fast. Just the way I like them. The course was in beautiful condition, tee to green. Even the bunkers are in excellent condition with perfect white sand. No excuses for getting up and out. The setting for this course is quite stunning, considering it is in the middle of the desert. There are no trees on this course, but plenty of opportunity to find trouble in a myriad of bunkers, waste bunkers and desert if you spray the ball off the tee. Bring extra balls because they are almost impossible to find if you hit them in the desert! I play this course every time I come to Vegas for golf. It's a bargain for the price and the staff is always friendly and professional.
