Great place to play. Hit a bucket and then walked nine. Course was in nice shape; really starting to green up after a rough winter. Friendly folks as well.

Beautiful Mountain Course. Greens are in amazing shape. Fairways in excellent shape as well. The bunker could use some sand, but considering the amount of rain they have had I can give them a pass. Very hilly course...lots challenging shots and great views, too. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Offered to let us come back and finish when the rain let up...unfortunately it did not. Looking forward to going back.

Great Layout. The greens were fantastic. It is still a work in progress, but they are working hard to get it in shape.

Having moved from Atlanta about two years ago it had been a while since I have played Steel Canyon / Blue Heron. The new mgmnt and greens keeper have done and great job in making this a great place to play. They have made a lot of improvements that really make a difference in the overall golf experience. The new champion greens are fantastic. It is a course that demands you keep the ball straight...or you'll loose them. The rough is very tough. Very nice folks as well. Great experience...it's good to see the course thriving. Note to beer drinking patrons - shame on you for tossing all your cans in the ravine next to the 11th tee box.

Nicest course I have ever played. It was amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves golf and wants to escape the Magic Kingdom. The staff was fantastic as well. First class in every way. I was played on a Friday..they had punched and sanded the greens that Monday which allowed me to play at a deeply discounted rate...even with that they putted better than most places I normally play.

Great Experience. The course was in great shape. The folks have been doing a great job keeping things in good shape despite the large amounts of rain. Friendly Staff. Played quickly as well...even on a holiday weekend.

These guys know how to treat folks. First class. It was a busy day as expected - Good Friday, 68 degrees. The staff really keep things moving despite being packed. I have played longer rounds on less crowded courses. Fun course to play as well. Plenty of water. Great scenery along the 'hooch as well. Highly recommend. Every course in Atlanta should treat their patrons this well.

This is truly one of the best courses in Atlanta. The greens are amazing.
