Homestead Springs Golf Course
Played On 04/23/2018Nice parkland style course
Great value for the course. Nicely maintained. Some risk/reward type holes which are always fun . . . especially if playing in a group!

Course is challenging for all levels of golfers. The course has improved this past season over the last couple of years!

It was very nice. Not a huge fan of playing on courses built into subdivisions but there was room for error! Course conditions were great! I would only change one hole and that is the Par 5 10th. I would move the tee boxes away from the clubhouse a bit and make it a par 4 which would make the course play at par 71. Still have water in play all along the right side but it is just too drastic of a right angle!
Valley View Golf Club
Played On 08/24/2015Good price for golf in 2015
Some previous hole locations on the greens had turned brown in a 18" circle. Lot of dying out of green approaches in the fairways which resulted in some interesting bounces.
Chippendale Golf Course
Played On 07/27/2015New course equals challenging golf.
Quality course for a good price. Some risk reward holes. Questioned one hole about the discrepancy between the par shown on the score card versus the signage at the tee box. Had to go back and check. I believe it became a par 73?
Lancaster Country Club
Played On 10/24/2014An iconic golf course that must be on your list to play!
Challenging but a very fair course. This Donald Ross designed track is a well established golf course that every golfer should have on their "golf course to do list"! Layout requires both left to right and right to left shots. The greens are somewhat undulating but not too cutesy like some of the newer courses. Some risk reward holes may just demand you leave your driver in the bag while others let you get it out and let it rip! All in all the course will leave you wanting to challenge it a second or even a third time!
Winchester Golf Club - Beeson 9
Played On 09/14/2014Old style golf course
Staff was very friendly and courteous. Originally had booked for 18 holes. Due to outing was sent to Pony to get started with the first nine. Pretty wide open which allows some errant shots without too much penalty. Just stay out of the creek that winds its way through the middle. Received phone call and was forced to cut my round short. Would have loved to finish my round on Beeson or Willow due to golf course architect William Diddle. Oh well, maybe next time when I head back home to Indiana!
Aliante Golf Course
Played On 03/17/2014This course is fast and rolls to trouble.
Greens too fast for the average player. Good shots rolled into hazard areas.
Phoenix Golf Links
Played On 11/5/2013Wonderful links style course within view of downtown Columbus.
Very challenging for first time visitor. Could possibly cut a few strokes after 2 or 3 rounds and becoming more knowledgeable of fairways and slopes of the greens. Very pleased with condition of fairways. All in all very pleased with my first experience and will definitely put Phoenix on my list to play again!
Crown Hill Golf Club
Played On 10/10/2013Wonderful course layout!
Loved the challenge. Undulating greens can turn a great approach into a three putt in no time! Driving by on the highway you would have no idea of the hilly terrain. Wonderful finishing hole . . . even though I birdied it, I will definitely change my approach angle next time I play, because there will definitely be a next time. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff await your next outing.
Raccoon Valley Golf Course
Played On 10/2/2013Nice challenge for mid-handicapper.
Like the older established tree lined fairways. Easy course if you stay in the middle of the fairways and hit the center of the greens!
Royal Hylands Golf Club
Played On 9/27/2013Challenging for the low handicapper, yet still fun for the rest of us.
Very nice to arrive and be greeted by a friendly staff and then tee it up on well maintained tees. Land it in the fairway and you have a chance of attacking the pin on some extremely challenging and undulating greens. Picturesque course on gently rolling hills with well established tree lined fairways.
