Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2019Terrible greens
Played here many many times but stopped because it’s overpriced. Came back for a round and the greens are the worst i’ve seen. First two are sand and unplayable. All 18 have poor greens. If they are going to charge $55 minimum for a round they need to first redo the greens completely. I’ve played many courses that are much nicer for half the price.
Grand Cypress - North/South
Played On 08/01/2019Great Course!
This course was fantastic. Tees off at 8:42am as a single. They didn’t have anyone to pair me with so the starters let me tee off on the wide open back nine. Played through two groups after I did the turn and finished the round in under 2:30 mins. The course was very dry. Great fairways. Great greens. All the putts rolled true. Play this course!
Revere Golf Club - Concord Course
Played On 12/06/2018Enjoyable Course
This course has many downward sloping fairways rewarding many of my drives with 50+ extra yards of roll. This made for a fun course to play. It is well designed but had lots of spotty areas. They were doing tons of maintenance not sure if it was a Thursday thing or what. There is also no locker room. Was the most appropriately priced place I've played around Vegas so far.
Coyote Springs Golf Club
Played On 12/05/2018Great price for a course with pure conditions
The drive to this course from Vegas is pretty sketch as it's 75 mph one lane each way for 25+ miles with no barrier between you and oncoming traffic. But the course is amazing and really well designed. Views from the teeboxes are great and will make you want to play the tips. Great shots may not be rewarded if you aren't familiar with the greens as they may roll down some of the steep sloping greens far from the pin. The scorecard is A+ showing the pin placement locations. Would definitely play again.
Reflection Bay Golf Club
Played On 11/13/2018Best course i've played
I enjoyed this course more than Wolf Creek, Bali Hai, and Coyote Springs. The teeboxes were flat and pure and most of them were raised giving you clear views of the surroundings and pin. They do not have water on the course but give you a couple bottles in your cart. It is a bit overpriced but will definitely play here again.
Bali Hai Golf Club
Played On 11/12/2018Great to play with view of the strip
This course is well maintained and it's really nice to play with a vew of the strip. Would not play here again unless there was a good deal, there are cheaper options elsewhere.
Golf Club at Cinco Ranch
Played On 05/25/2018Good Course For Beginners/ High Handicappers
This course has an enjoyable layout. The par 5's are challenging, and difficult to get a birdie/eagle on. The staff is nice and the greens are in great condition. I have played here every once in awhile for ten years, but this might be my last. There are just too many cons to this course. Its location causes tons of people to play it, and it tends to high handicappers and beginners so expect a 4:30+ pace of play. There used to be gps on the carts but they got rid of them because they were expensive. These are really needed here because there are tons of blind spots on the course. When you couple the slow pace of play and the many beginner golfers, you will have anxious and oblivious people teeing off right at you when you are hitting your approach shot. There is also no marshall. So people, annoyed at slow pace of play, try skipping around holes only to find that there is nowhere to go, and that they just got in your way. There is a starter though, which is pointless, because after you finish the first hole you can literally go to any other hole on the course and they wouldn't know. Finally, the greens on this course are enormous - too big in fact. If you do not have a rangefinder and know the exact distance to the pin, it is pointless to play here. You may hit an approach in the center of the green and have a 30 yard putt. I would not recommend this course to anyone with a handicap under 18.

Played On 05/24/2018Very Enjoyable Course
This is a very enjoyable course where good shots are rewarded. The con, at least as of right now, are the greens aren't in very good shape. Parts of some greens are terrible, and parts are very nice. I'm really not sure what's going on there. I'd say it's worth up to $52 to play here.
BlackHorse Golf Club - South Course
Played On 05/06/2018Nice Course
Arguably nicer than other courses in the area. Par 4's are long and Par 5's are short. Greens are nice so long putts are doable. There are a lot of company outings and tournaments here, but they have let me switch between courses when this happens to have a quicker round.
Golf Club of Houston - Tournament Course
Played On 12/31/2017Nice Course
This is a nice course. People seem to think it is very difficult because pros play it, but because the course is well taken care of, you might shoot lower than elsewhere. I liked this course enough that I played 3 times within a month. Unfortunately on the last round I left a $170 speaker in the cart. I did not play it because we got paired with others. This is 3x the price we paid for the round. I called the next morning and left my info. The cart guys should have found it right? Wrong. I called a couple more times and they said they would look into it. I don't think anyone every really looked into it. Brian was very rude and condescending. Either the cart guys don't clean carts (they do) or they took my speaker. You would expect that this would be extremely unlikely for this not to happen. Haven't played here since.
Stoneybrook East Golf Course
Played On 8/16/2013Greens roll nicely
The course needs work. The fairways are awful and the tee boxes need help. The course will still provide for an enjoyable round. They also have the best practice facility out of all the courses in the surrounding area. I would book here again.
Thank you for the review! If you liked the Concord, you’ll have to come out and play the premiere of the two courses, the Lexington the next time you’re in town.
Best in golf!
