Played On 10/23/2022Course in great shape. Greens roll smooth and quick. Too many bunkers surrounding the greens complexes. Some of the greens are just too small. Some of the hazards need to be marked with stakes especially hole 11 middle of the fairway. Would play the course again.

Played On 04/10/2022Low budget municipal course. Greens are decent minus hole 9 half of the green is dirt. Fairways full of weeds and not mowed Low enough. . I just play there for convenience of location and price.

Played On 10/27/2020This has always been one of my favorite courses. Many challenges and many opportunities to score. Course management is crucial. Some holes are tight and water and creeks come in to play often. Greens are always in good shape. Beautiful and tough finishing holes.

I have played here for 30+ years. Always a challenging yet fair course. Course is tough to keep grass growing in some areas. However, that being said the greens are in the best shape they've ever been. They are quick and very smooth. I feel that this the most important aspect of a great golf course. I will continue to play here. Hat's off to the superintendent.

This course has a lot of potential. Fairways were ok. Doing some drainage work on a couple of holes. Still very fair overall. Greens were in good shape compared to past experiences. Overseeded with poa and rolled true. New putting green was put in recently. Very nice. Fun round for a cold day in the 40s.

Played On 03/11/2018Fun day difficult conditions
Went out as a single. Met up with some great guys on the first tee that had never played the course. We had a good day even with rain and wind. They loved the course. Even the aerified greens were rolling very true. I always love coming to this course just to see the downtown Raleigh skyline. The layout requires complete accuracy due to the many bunkers and native grass areas lining the course.

Played On 4/21/2013This course has every kind of shot. Requires accuracy. Greens were in great shape.
I have played this course several times. It has a beautiful island green on the front nine as well as a great par 5 17th accessible in 2 shots with water guarding the right side of the green.

I have played this course several times and it keeps bringing me back. The pace of play can be a bit slow. But it is worth it. The staff is super friendly. The greens are usually in very good shape. That is very important to me. I am very satisfied with this course. The price I paid online is exceptional for this course.
