Gypsum Creek Golf Course
Played On 07/06/2018Fun course
My little family and I were road tripping through the area and decided to stop and play and we're glad we did. We had a lot of fun on a nice course on a beautiful evening. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The course was well maintained, but the bunkers need some work. Even though the par 3 17th is kind of a ridiculous hole going straight down the mountain, it was super fun to play. Pace of play was awesome. Will definitely be back.

My little family and I were visiting the Denver area over the 4th of July and decided to play Murphy Creek and I'm glad we did. It's a little out of the way, but worth the drive. I liked the front nine best as it has an open, prairie-like feel to it and isn't surrounded by homes like most of the back nine. The condition of the course was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was hardly anyone on the course so the pace of play was excellent. The weather was a little warm and breezy but nothing we couldn't handle. We didn't use the driving range or the restaurant/bar, but the clubhouse was nice and looked great. I got a good twilight rate and my sons played for free or used Youth on Course. We did see a few snakes on the course, one of which was a rattlesnake, so be careful. Would like to play again when in the area.

This course is great. Tons of bunkers, sandy areas and desert. Course was in excellent condition. Well worth the drive to get there. Low price green fee and my son played for free. The bag drop/cart guy was very friendly and helpful. The girl in the pro shop seemed annoyed that I was there when I went in to pay. Liked the free, cold water bottles provided by the course. Will be back to play.

Fun, shorter course to play. Loved the fairways & bunkers as they were in great shape. Didn't like the small elevated greens. They were firm and it was difficult to even get the ball to stay on them. The course is flat. Good value. The whole complex was kind of confusing for a first timer. The sandwich from the restaurant was pricy but delicious.

Loved this course! Beautiful and in good condition. Every hole was fun to play. Course wasn't crowded. It's literally in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the drive. The driving range was the best one I've ever seen. Will definitely play again.
