I really enjoy the heat of the summer when I golf.. The courses are almost empty and the prices can't be any better. When I played Sundance it was in August so the weather was hot and muggy but the course was in excellent condition and nobody but me was on the course I finished playing 18 holes in two hours and 15 minutes. I would really like to blame the course for my high scoring game but that would be a lie, it was me that caused all those bad shots.

The course was just aireated a few days ago and the greens were pretty bumpy but I was aware of this before I scheduled the round.

I golfed with my wife who is a beginner golfer. We had a foursome one group in front of us that had two young children learning to play. I felt the parents kept up with the group in front of them and my wife and I had a great time.

I have played this course many years ago and when I saw the Hot Deal I couldn't refuse to play. I was disappointed in the condition of the fairways there were a lot of dead areas scattered throughout the course. I mistakenly left my phone in the cart after the round and didn't realize it until I got home. I called the course and they located it for me. When I arrived to pick it up they also handed me my wallet with all the cash inside.

The course was in very good condition. The greens were lightning fast and true. The pro and the bag boy were very friendly. We had a really good time and the weather even cooperated with the course.

The course conditions were fabulous. The greens were lightning speed around a twelve and very consistent. We played as a twosome and let another twosome play through. The weather was in the mid seventies. It wasn't cart path only which is what I've been doing a lot lately. The worst thing that happened was people walking on the cart path to the right of number 10. I overcorrected and pulled my drive left of the fairway. It was a great day at my favorite course. Too bad it's an hour drive to get there.

It seems all the gophers have moved from Tres Rios to Southern Dunes. The crew had someone dealing with the critters but my concern would be not removing the dirt mounds ending up with a very bumpy golf course similar to Tres Rios.

I played this course at the end of summer it was not acceptable. After reading a few recent reviews and getting a hot deal on Golfnow I took a chance and I was very plsently surprised at what great condition the course was in. The fairways were exelent when I managed to land in them and the green were running at about an 8 and very true.

The course was in good shape. The greens were very fast for me which is one reason my score was so high. They weren't a normal color green color so I thought they put something on them to help the vegetation. They ran true and I didnt notice any bumping or weaving so my score was my own fault. The pace of play was great if anything it was my group that was a bit slow. The staff was friendly as usual which is very good.

I drive by this course several times a week. I've been watching it get into shape after reseeding. It looked and was in great condition. The greens were rolling very true and no bumping of the golf ball as it made it's way to the hole. I used this opportunity to treat a veteran friend of mine to a great and fun game of golf.

I'm thinking the course is getting ready for overseeding. The rough was very long in lots of sections. I played with some friends that have a high handicap. We were followed by a threesome that appeared frustrated by my group trying to find tee shots that should have been easy to find but the length of the ruff comepletley swallowed the ball up and we had to be right on top of it to see it. We finished the round in just a bit over 4 hours, so it wasn't slow play . We used a "hot deal" so we definatly got our money's worth. The greens were pretty good. I've played this course before and it seems to be going downhill. It's a nice layout with some good holes. I hope it gets better again.

I got a Hot Deal from Golfnow, I only paid ten bucks a piece for a twosome. The total came to $28 and change for two people!. It was on a Sunday at 11:00 we were paired with another couple that didn't show. I thought the course was in very good condition, I had never played it before but I don't see how it could have been better. My game was not in as good of shape as the course. We didn't see anyone in front of us or behind us during the entire round. We finished just a few minutes shy of 3 hours! If my game would have been on track, I would have had to say this was one of the best rounds I've Played in quite some time.

The course was in very good condition, fairways, greens and even the desert was giving me good shots, the only problem I had was the 110 degree temperature. It was hot as he'll but I still had a decent game and a good time.

We were paired with another very friendly and informative couple. We enjoyed our round very much.
