Liked everything about this course. First time in ages that we played18 holes in 3:10 hours.
Rose Hill Golf Club

The last time we played Rose Hill, the course was in sad shape, but we really liked the layout.
Regretably, things have not improved. .The greens are not in good shape, they have black mould, "lousy" grass, no grass on sections... The fairways are not smooth. They are trying - I see signs of fertiliser throuhout. Granted, we were not able to finish the 18 holes due to weather and had to stop atter the sixth hole (we did receive a rain check for 9 holes)
At the price paid, I expected better conditions.

Beautiful course in the woods with lots of water. Fairways are still green inspite of the view that many other courses' "brown" fairways.
Greens are Fast!
River Oaks Golf Club

Due to the dry conditions, a well placed tee shot will go a lot further - a great booster for a duffer like me.
Course was well maintained, with not too much water.
Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club - Sand Nine

Great course but pace was slow since not enough time between starts (?) - had to wait at every hole. Total time was 4.8 hours vs a quoted time of 4h20min.
Colonial Charters Golf Club

Fairways, cart tracks and green need maintenance. Course layout is nice. When we played we were teamed with a couple of members who played very fast and we let them play ahead. We played the next holes atrociously and left after 9 holes.
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Thee course was great but because the score cards were black and white it was difficult to determine where the water hazards were placed.
There was no sand in the course repair containers- so had to leave divets as is.
Because there was only one rake per hole most sand traps were not raked after shots.
