Scenic and good greens

My wife and I played here with 2 really nice guys that were locals. That really helped because this course has plenty of holes that are tricky enough that you do need gps and advice on where to hit your drives etc… not too long but I played the tips and it was fair. 11-14 are pretty tough shot making holes. We loved it. People there were very friendly and we will be back.

Funny layout

We played here with a couple of locals, so they were very helpful in guiding us around the course. Greens were in good shape as was the rest of the course. Pretty course.

Great course but....

The guys in the pro shop and at the bag drop (cart guys) were nice but the old starter was a rude to our 16 person group. The course was fun and in great shape. We had 16 guys here for a conference. We had a previous world long drive champion and we spent $3600 on golf. Got done and were told no smoking cigars outside except out by the putting green. We said ok but we were then told as another warning, if we were caught smoking on the patio we would be asked to leave. Then the waitress informed us that there would be one ticket and if we didn't like it we could leave. She then asked if we were planning on eating. We said no and she said "perfect"? We said goodbye and spent our money elsewhere for the next 3 hours.

Fun track

My wife and I have played here before and it s winter here in Oklahoma, so our expectation of fairways having a lot grass etc... is pretty low. There were very few people out here and we felt like we had the place to ourselves until we hit the back 9. had some kids and a father in front of us and it got slow but they sped up after about 5-6 holes. Greens fees were cheap and we will be back.

Very scenic

My wife and I played here on a very windy Memorial Day weekend. Her tee boxes were very often only 10 yards in front of mine. So it played very long for her. Accuracy is a premium skill if you want to score well. Otherwise, bring lots of balls. I am an 8 handicap and lost 2 balls that I’m sure were very near where I was looking for them but off the fairway generally is gone. The first 4-5 holes are long narrow holes with postage stamp greens. The word Hills is appropriate for the name of this course. It’s very scenic and you will need to be good at adjusting your distances for elevation changes. All in all, everyone there was very courteous and helpful and the club house is nice. The price for us to play seemed a bit high for what it is. $150 per person was close to the Bass Pro owned courses. They really need some women’s tee box adjustments but we still had a decent time. Don’t miss the hundreds of goldfish on 17 bridge!

Silver 72 6299 yards
Orange 72 5323 yards

The forward tee is almost 1000 yards shorter than the next one back. On some holes it's a whole lot shorter. Running it through my kind, that it is on holes where it really needs to be. On a few holes, it is not much shorter. On some of those it needs to be. Little known, on 9 and 17, there are alternate forward tees further up, to account for hazards.

Great course and fun layout

Other than the pro letting 3 guys jump in front of our tee time after the starter had us on the tee already, we had a good time and it went pretty fast. Great scenery and fun layout. The food situation was just burgers and hot dogs with some chips. Fine for a golf course. No fries or any real menu, but we survived. Still pushing masks like they actually work. City owned, so typical. Driving range isn't so great but course was fun.

Neighborhood course layout

My wife and I have played here before when we are in Eureka Springs. It’s a short course even from the tips. I used less than driver on about 40 percent of the par 4/5 holes. It’s narrow and sometimes slopes, so straight is better than long here. Smallish type greens that are often raised requires a decent short game. Overall, fun layout. Great gas golf carts. Very comfortable. No gps or coolers. Club house, grill and pro shop is closed to entering due to COVID restrictions. The driving range was closed and grill is outside only. So you had to stand outside until some one came out to take your money etc... we had our own cooler and bought drinks and they filled it with ice. Greens were in great shape.

Fun layout

My wife and I played here on vacation and I will say the greens were in good shape. Since this is a retirement community, there were some COVID related annoyances. One was there was no drink carts or coolers and zero ways to get drinks on the course. The clubhouse looks like a 1970 style layout but it was clean and open with great views from every location. The one odd thing was, you have to go to one end of the building to the pro shop and pay, then travel thru the dining area and grill outside to the other end to get a cart? Then drive back past the pro shop and around front to get your clubs. But other than the drink situation, we were paired with 2 (a father and son) that were nice guys and we had a good round. Really good food from the grill and very nice pro shop merchandise.

Crazy layout at times

My wife and I played here and had a good time. The views are great on many of the holes. Very sloped greens here make for some unexpected 3 putts. The second hole is a very narrow valley with walls on both sides and trouble all the way to the green. I hit the left edge of the green and it backed off slightly and rolled into a creek that is 5 yards to the left of the green! I made double after hitting 2 good shots to get there. You have to play the slope on most of the shots here. If you are all over the place off of the tee, you will hate those holes. If you struggle to read putts, this place will eat you up. I really never figured out the putting and managed zero birdies. I’m a 5.6 handicap. Shot 81 with 2 penalty holes. Clubhouse is typical small town erupted with very little in the pro shop. Carts are horrible, gas because of the hills, but not enough power to climb many of the hills. We had to get out or start from a running head start over again to make it up many of the steep hills. 4 holes at least. Beautiful looking course but it needs a little investment help and maybe flatten out some of the greens. The layout is hard enough that crazy hilly greens seems like over kill. It was fun overall, and unlike many courses now, we had a cooler on the cart and they sold drinks.

Great value in Vegas

My wife and I played here while on vacation. They paired us with 2 really nice local guys. We really didn’t have to wait at all, but I would mention this was late morning on a Tuesday. The course conditions were really good. Greens were rolling well and fairways were nice and green. I played from the black tees and probably shouldn’t have. I am only about 260-275 max off the tee. I still had quite a few 200-205 yard approach shots. All of the par 3’s were right around 200 as well. Other than the fact that I was experiencing some lightness of breath during the round and ended up going to the ER the next day which resulted in a quadruple bypass that kept me in Vegas for 2 weeks, we had a great time here. Check out our pics pre surgery. We will be back if I ever go back to Vegas. Lol

Private but worth it if you get the chance!

I played here in a charity golf event to help raise money for the local school system. This course is probably one the most scenic and yet demanding courses you will play. There are holes that have approach shots that you can miss the green to hillside next to the green and it will roll right down to the hole! There elevated tees that appear to be at least 6 stories above the fairway. There are 2 holes that have a creek running right down the middle and demand that you pick a side to land on. A couple of the par 5's can be reached in 2 if you hit a good 275+ drive. The club house is beautiful with a view to kill for. They are in the process of building a new one and I was told that it will improve the pro shop area.

Hill Country Fun

My wife and I played here after my 35 year High School reunion. Needless to say we were a little hung over. But we had a ton of fun playing this course. The people in the pro shop and food area were great as was the starter and even some of the local members. Hilly and bit long from the tips. The ladys tees are very long. My wife hits driver about 185-200 yards and most of the greens weren't even close to reachable for her. Great scenery everywhere and good greens. The signature par 3 with rock overhang is really cool. 188 yards and pretty scary with water right and short. We would definitely go back.

Great layout with plenty of scenery

My wife and I played here on a weekday afternoon on the way to Austin. Greens were in great shape and the course is laid out in a very interesting way around the river/creek that runs through it. We did have to wait 15-20 mins on several holes towards the end due to a bunch of adults and children playing some kind of tournament. They eventually let us thru. I think we played the Masters and Champion course. We did find it hard to make the transition from one course to the next. Maybe some signs? However, we really enjoyed it. My wife loved the place, which is rare. We will be back next time we pass though.

Fun Experience

Played here with a group and one of the guys had me as his guest, so I got a reduced rate of like 90 bucks. The course is really cool and the starting area is playing 70's rock like Van Halen, ZZ Top, etc.... on speakers which was cool. Carts have no windshield and this time of year it can be coller and windy. I had a frogger portable cart cover or I would have been miserable. Very expensive brews and cigars. 4 aluminum bottles was $27. 6 inch long Punch cigar was $17. Saw some wild life due to some errant tee shots into the desert. Wind and fast greens were brutal. I'm a 7 handicap and shot 89.

Fun layout and worth the price and the drive

My wife and I played here on Saturday and we were one of only several groups playing so we had the place to ourselves. The course was a peculiar layout at times but that kind of made it fun. The restaurant and bar are new and very nice. Food was good also. We will be back. The only slight complaint was that our cart started to die and cut out at the end of the round. So we lightened the load by having one of us walk the last 3 holes while the other one drove.

Great Texas course with new greens

I say that they have redone the greens. I am not sure, but a local told me that and they were very fast. But they were very fair and consistent throughout the day. My wife and I got lucky and a cool front moved in and dropped the temp to high 80's and it was awesome. The course is in great shape and the only annoyance is the pace of play seems to always be kind of slow out here. But the layout, conditions and the people that work here are great!

Fun tract and great clubhouse

My wife and I played here on recent visit and we really enjoyed the pro shop and the bar area as well as the outside sitting area. The course was in good shape and the greens were about medium speed and in good shape. I was not carrying a club that goes 200 yards or less and found around 4 or 5 holes that required that I tee off to that distance to avoid trouble. I probably should have played the blue tees rather than the whites. Anyhow we had a good time and the layout was very interesting and challenging on some holes. Beware of the low sitting evergreen trees around the greens. If you go on there, you are dead.

Windy Aruba Golf!

We played a 4some on May 2nd. Myself and my wife along with 2 work colleagues. It was probably the windiest golf I have ever played and I am form Oklahoma!. 40+ mph wind but beautiful course. We saw goats and an occasional iguana on the course. The fairways were pretty decent and the greens were a little slow compared to what most people are used to. I managed to shoot 83 and felt like I had shot 70. The greens were reachable in regulation as long as you club up or down for wind. I was hitting a 135 club for 100 yd shot into the wind. Beer is very expensive. $6 per brew. If you are a true golfer and want to play 18 different holes (not 9 twice) while in Aruba, then this is it. Fun experience.

Great local Tulsa course

I have played here more times than I can count. I live nearby and this course has been reworked a little in the last couple of years. It is even better now than it was before. Keep it play and don't get too aggressive and you will be rewarded. If you hit it out of play on most holes, it is more than likely gone. Great views of Downtown Tulsa skyline from #1 and #10. #11 if the "famous cliff hole". It's probably a 4 to 5 story drop to the green. If you haven't played here before, you owe it to yourself when in Tulsa.
