Pine Ridge Country Club
Played On 04/09/2016Worth the Drive
Pine Ridge is a gem. A lot of people do not know about it. Spring is here and the course is really shaping up. Greens are true; good speed and receptive. There are a few spots on the greens that need attention. I like fast greens so I could stand a little faster, but they are relatively consistent. 6900 yards. Fairways are pretty good but have some sandy patches. Fair price for the drive. Being past Edgefield not usually super busy, so the play is always at your own pace. Will be back.
The Valley at Eastport Golf Club
Played On 06/27/2014Great Course for the Money
Great course for the money. If you are in the Myrtle Beach area it is worth driving the 20-30 minutes to play a nice course. Extremely tight and challenging, but in pristine shape. Looks like they aerated their greens a couple of weeks ago but thus should be rolling true in a few weeks.
Heron Point Golf Club
Played On 06/26/2014Twilight time misconception
Vacationing in Myrtle and brought a foursome to play Heron Point. Attendant in the proshop was not in the pro shop, so I waited a couple of minutes and was about to walk out then he showed up. Golf course was pretty rough. We payed 18, and I didn't feel like it was worth it. On GolfNow it said we were booking a twilight time, but they only let us play 18. It's ok though, we won't be back.
Hickory Knob Golf Course

The green's need a lot of work. I had multiple previous cups in my lines. Impossible to make any putts over five feet.
Persimmon Hill Golf Club

I like the finishing hole, 630 yards. The staff was vcery friendly.
