This is one if the best public courses in the area when you consider playability in any weather, cost to play and course layout. The staff are even more phenomenal. I would recommend this course highly!!

I was excited to play this course based on the course description and the pictures on the website. Neither met expectations. While the staff was friendly and very helpful the course was in poor condition. When my buddy and I pulled into the parking lot and saw the condition of the beds around that we thought we were in trouble.

The beds and grounds were full of weeds and looked bad. The range was sad looking and it carried onto the courses fairways. The fairways were full of weeds in a lot places. The tee boxes were good and the greens were great but that was it.

The pace of play was horrible due to a foursome that would not let us play through. We finally enlisted the help of the marshall/ starter who made them let us play through. He was the best part of our experience! We could tell that this was once a very well kept course but has been let go over the years for some reason. I would play it again but not on a weekend and not for what we paid.

Greens and fairways were in great shape. The greens were very fast!

I have golfed at Ranch Hills since I was 12. The owners are very friendly. It is on the short side but still challenging.
