First Tee of Augusta
Played On 04/08/2015great place to practice
This park style course is 6 holes with 4 par 3s, a par 4 and a par 5. Each hole has some nice bunkers, there are some good elevation changes on all but one hole, and it is not expensive. The par 4 is 400 yards and the par 5 is over 500 yards; both fairways are bunkered and each can have sloping lies. One of the par 3's is 209 so this is not just a pitch and putt. The staff is outstanding and the course is in good shape for the price.

The first hole is the hardest hole on the course. There are a few forced carries. The greens were sanded, but rolled ok for the most part. 5 par 3s and 5 par 5s make it a fun course.

Played On 5/27/2013Good value. Fun course with reachable par 5's.
Overall: 7 of 10. A lot of fun with plenty of birdie chances and not much OB. Bunkering is not excessive (I hit into 4 sand traps though). For the money, it is a good value. Easy to walk.
Greens : 5 of 10. Speeds varied from green to green.
Fairways: 7 of 10. Hard surface.
Layout: On the back, there are a couple of blind tee shots (12 and 13) so use a 5 wood or hybrid on these holes. All the par 5's are reachable so it's fun for everybody. The par 3's vary from 115 to 175 yards. The par 4's have a few extreme doglegs (8,12,13), but all in all they are reasonable and vary in length from around 300 to 400 yards with most being around 330 or so.
