The course conditions were above average. The course has lots of slopes so choose your shots wisely. The greens were not super fast, but not slow. Friendly clubhouse staff and bar staff. If you have a mishit, you will likely have a blind approach shot.

When I arrived I could see the course was going to be absolutely beautiful. I arrived and there was a drizzle. The pro shop staff and ranger/ starter were very friendly. I got right on and there was no waiting. The course was not packed at my arrival. They paired me up with another single.
The course itself was absolutely beautiful to look at and play. The fairways were nice and many elevated greens. It was challenging but fair.
The greens could use some work but they mentioned they are working on them. They didn’t spoil my time at the course. It was drizzling out most of the round so the course was very wet.Fairways were wide. Greens were slow on the front 9 and began to speed up a little on the back.
It was about a 45 minute drive for me but I will be back! The course reminds me of The Preserve at Jordan Lake.

This was my first time coming here. I was walking and People on a cart in front of me let me pass. Pace of play was terribly slow. Greens were slow and some fairways had large patches of dirt.
Don’t expect a nice relaxing time, expect a lot of stop and go. Saw many people with jean shorts And cut offs Sleeves and lots of beer cans around the tee boxes not in trash cans.
Very wide open fairways so if you’re a slicer you’ll be fine. It’s a good course from someone who’s new to the game.

When I arrived the course was very busy. I was greeted in the club house with friendly staff and they got me on a cart within minutes. I played with another twosome.
The course was beautiful to look at and in wonderful shape. A majority of the greens are elevated but the fairways are open. Greens were rolling fast. Also the greens are very disceveing so read them slowly to make a good putt.
We played in about 3 hours and 45 mins. I would play the course more if it wasn't so far away from me.
Lochmere Golf Club

If you would have asked me about Lochmere 2 years ago, I would have said that you MUST play there and it's a great public course. I played the course last night for the first time in about two years and I can tell you that I do not think I'll be back anytime soon.
I experienced friendly service, but that's a given. What I also did experience were poor course conditions. The fairways were basically dirt and mud. A golfer would have more luck hitting it out of the rough. Course was brown, brown, brown. When I played it the last time I don't remember it being like that. For spending that kind of money on a week day I'd expect much better conditions.
Keith Hills Golf Club - White Course
Played On 04/14/2018Keith Hills is a MUST
Keith HIlls is the BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Keith Hills offers friendly staff and service while offering state of the art practice facilities and player development programs. The course is always in emasculate shape. The fairways are always green and the greens are fast. Hole 15 is the most challenging because it's straight uphill but then hole 16 gives you a break because when you get to the top of the hill you can take our your boom stick from atop and see how far you can crush the drive as it falls back down into the fairway leaving you 80 yards out.
I will probably become a member to this club.
Thank you for the 4 star review and good feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and welcome your next visit at one of our 3 area courses, Preserve, Falls Village and Chapel Ridge GC.
