Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
Played On 12/06/2019A good warm up course
This is a good warm up course. Not too difficult and mostly open so you won’t lose your golf balls. The layout is odd, requiring lots of backtracking and long distances between holes on the back nine. As a result, must cart. Played on a Friday and it was slow - 5 hour round. A bit rough around the edges.

We enjoyed this course - it’s good for all abilities. Range has a gorgeous view! Walkable. Uses the desert well.
Whistler Golf Club
Played On 08/17/2019Walkable Course in Whistler
This course is located in the main Whistler village area Just on the other side of the highway ( you go under the highway to get there.
The driving range is back on the other side, so a bit of a walk. It’s an open driving range, not just for the course, so can be busy. There’s a practice green as well.
They allow you to walk the course, which I know some golfers enjoy. It’s not too hilly and very walkable.
There’s a fair bit of hazards to get in your way and it’s a good challenge. There are several tees to chose from.
The restaurant is nice and the service is good. It’s not big. There’s a pro shop as well.
Monument at Troon North Golf Club
Played On 03/06/2019Beautiful desert course!
My favourite of the 2 Troon North courses. It’s beautiful, impeccably groomed and very playable.
As a lady higher handicap 26 playing with my husband mid handicap 14 we both could enjoy this course.
Scenery is gorgeous!
If you have the Troon card, you get a good deal and it’s well worth it! Actually, the Troon card was a great option for great rates and great courses!
