Sad to report, this course has joined the myriad of other golf courses in the SW Ohio region. The property was privately owned and sold by the owner to a private group to build homes on the site. All well and good, but there were already homes on the course. If you had purchased a site to be "on a golf course", in which a premium was charged for a home-site, you'll now have just another home in your backyard.

Had driven by this place many times, but never stopped in. Have played it a couple times since and it's truly a great track for just a former farm that was replaced with a golf course running thru it. This is a great place for beginners to seniors. Not a large crowd, so one can move around in a timely manner. We played 9 holes in one hour and 15 minutes The back 9 took longer, as a group in front of us were not privy to the rules of allowing faster groups to play thru. We were a twosome and they had four players that played from all directions of the tee. We know...we watched EVERY shot!

This might be my new favorite course to play in Ohio. In the past Sleepy Hollow, Shaker Run and Longeberger had topped my list, but this track has topped them all! I shot 87 on this day, but after playing the course, could easily elicit a high70's or low 80's score. One has to play this place a time or two to get a bit of course knowledge to play nearer my handicap. My analogy of a great course like this is, "it beats you and beats your and beats you" and then you move onto the second hole. I loved every moment of the beating from the first tee to the last putt! A great diverse design of many different golf hole architecture not normally seen around here. Pot bunkers, bunkers in the middle of the fairways, holes requiring long, carried second shots to several greens, blind greens and reachable, yet challenging par 4 holes. This place is an ABSOLUTE MUST PLAY on anyones golf bucket list. Enjoy!
