I was looking to take advantage of the Sunday weather with 9 holes of golf. Because of the rain on Thursday and Friday many of the course were closed. I found Hampton GC and decided to golf a quick nine holes. The course is short with 3 Par 3's and 6 Par 4's. The drainage was good with no standing water. The course conditions were fair. All in all a good day and worth the money.

We played the Eagle and Falcon. Pine Knob is always a solid choice to play golf. At times it can be slow. They need to have a Ranger more active. We had a 3-some in front of us, we called Molassis 1, 2 and 3. Brutally slow. We had a foursome on the front nine and waited. The twosome with us only played 9 holes so we played as a twosome on the back mine so we were faster but the foursome behind us were catching us because we waited so long for the Molassis 3-some. They were putting and grinding over 12 inch putts. 😱🤯

Boulder Pointe never seems to disappoint. Using the Hot Deals promo provides good value for the money. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Golfed the Peaks for the first time. Interesting layout but the course being fairly new had lots of dead grass areas around the fairways and some on the green. It seemed they experience some sort of fungi that killed the grass. Not sure. Overall a very good experience. Will be back.

Indian Springs golf course is good value for the money but if the pace of play was any slower I would pay not to play it. There’s no Ranger and no control of pace of play. So many doubles going out and they play as slow as a foursome. Unless I could get the first tee time of the day I won’t be back.

Pine Knob Golf Course is always the predictable good golf course. Staff is friendly, the course is always in good shape. It could get pricey at times, but if you get the Hot Deals, it very good value for the money. I connected with a 3 some, very nice chaps and played the Hawk and Falcon. As rated before, Hawk's first 2 holes are tight, but then it opens up. Falcon is a good 9 holes finishing with a big boy Par 5 slightly uphill at the end. One of my go to golf courses after leaving the private club scene.

Pine Knob with its 3 Nine Holes and is a steady choice for a good round of golf. Can be pricey without the Hot Deals & $10 off coupon. I prefer the Eagle and Falcon the original 18 holes the best, but I golfed the Hawk for the first time as my back nine and while #1 and #2 are tight (especially #2), it opens up from there and was a fun round. Staff was friendly especially the Starter. I was paired up with a twosome at 1:00 pm, but they went out early so I was a loner. They gave me a choice. Tee off early and see if the foursomes and threesome will let me play through or join a three some at 1:00 pm. I teed off early and told the threesome if things don't open up I'll join them. The foursome and threesome ahead graciously let me play through, but two couples ahead of was a "no go". Not even at the turn #1 on the Falcon. The men were just teeing off and saw me pull up, looked back and not a word. So I went to the Starter and he looked at the tee sheet and put me on the Hawk. Once the foursome on #1 let me go through, I finished in an hour. Great fun. Will be back and will bring my mates.

This course has a decent layout and in pretty good shape, but calling it a "Country Club" is a misnomer. It's merely a golf club. I would not belong here as the course, especially the back nine has too many holes that goes up then down which means quite often you cannot tell if the group ahead of you is still within range or clear without driving up. The #1 handicap hole #6 is a little gimmicky with water everywhere and it also is dogleg left, but luckily there's more room than it looks, but for first timers, visually tough.. #16 is a crazy hole, uphill, then super downhill. First timers should drive up to see the hole, otherwise you'll aim too far right. Must hit of the left tree bordering the left side of the fairway. All in All, not bad and since I had a $10 off the Hot Deal, I cannot complain about the price.

I used the GolfNow Hot Deals and also my $10 off coupon so the price was very reasonable. I had a 7:30 am tee time joining 3 others. Fortunately two of the players teed off early so I joined a nice young man as a twosome and also teed off about 10 minutes before our tee time and flew through the course in 3 hours. Course was in very good condition. I would recommend this course.

The course .layout fun and the course is no tricked up. Pretty much what you see is what you get. The only issue is that you hit into the water at the driving range. Also, the course had brown out areas on every green. If they put a few million to clean the course up and maintain it, it would be a much better experience.

The course layout is okay but most of the course has no wind protection whatsoever so consequently prepare to face wind all day on every hole. We played today and the wind was 20 - 25 mph and it was tough to score. My partner shot 85 and me 89. Greens were also very hard and not receptive. I would recommend playing it once but we won’t be coming back. Too many other courses to play that has more wind protection and scorable.

Enjoyed this course very much. Nice course layout. It’s fair and fun to play. We were a twosome and we waited on a foursome, two couples and the husbands were giving on course lessons to their wives while they kept hitting lateral shots. Brutal. We would be on top of them on the tee box (us Blue, they were White) but no wave up. Absolute worst golf etiquette and no consideration. We informed the Ranger and he said he would talk to them but to no avail because nothing happened. When we got in we told the guys checking the cart in and he offered another complimentary 9 holes. That was nice.

Enjoyed the course very much. Every landing area for the tee balls were very generous. A smart golf architect especially for a resort course. Conditions were good and we were paired with a 5 handicap Englishman and a golfer from Thailand. Both were delightful and fast players. Greens are heavily undulated so be ready. Only beef was that the shuttle boat horns became annoying. Would recommend this course.

First time playing Crooked Cat but played Panther the sister course 3 years ago. The layout was fun and fair, course in good condition and pace of play was great. We had the course practically to ourselves perhaps because the storm from the day before scared golfers away. IDK. Few tough holes. #2 green is heavily guarded by bunkers. In #3, keep your tee ball to the right otherwise you are blocked despite being in the fairway. Back nine is tougher than front. Only rub is lots of bare areas around the course in areas that are not in play but it does take a little away from the experience. Still enjoyed it.

This is the second time playing this course and I would not recommend this course. I am a 12 handicapper so not great, but not bad either. This course is so penal when you hit a slightly errant shot and very unforgiving, for a public course, it's no fun with blind hazards and tricked up fairways. After 9 holes you are in the boonies and not back at the clubhouse. Only redeeming feature is that it's picturesque. Never going back though.

Hawk Hollow is one of my favorite courses in Lansing, MI. The course is fun, a bit challenging especially 17 & 18 coming in, but fair. Most landing areas are generous and the course layout is fun. I would highly recommend it. For $37 (hot deal), I'd golf it every day!

Grand Cypress North & South is one of the top courses around the Orlando area. Great layout, nice course conditions and free range balls. One of my favorite. Must golf complex with 45 holes of golf.

Played Harmony for the first time. It has a full restaurant and staff is friendly. Course conditions could have been better. Greens were nice so we gave Harmony a decent rating for that category, but fairway had many bare spots. It was Day 1 of our golf trip so we felt good course for a decent price for opening round.

The Waldorf Astoria Course by far is the best maintained course that we have golfed in the Orlando area, but it's not cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. The landing area for your drives are fairly wide and fair. The approach shots are tough because the greens tend to be shallow and don't go long or it's a tough go back. Greens are true, but runs 11 - 12 on stimp. You earn your Pars on this course.

College Fields was surprisingly a fun course. I normally play 6,400 - 6,600 yards, but the Starter told us it plays longer than the yardage from the White Tee at 6,166 because some short Par 3's, two short Par 4's, and one target golf Par 4. We took his advice and we are glad we did because the greens are really tricky and with the morning dew, the parts of the green in the shade had a rooster tail until the sun started drying the greens. It's a fun and fair layout. We plan to be back.

Eagle Eye is a wonderful public course with a Private Club feel with nice amenities, 2 putting greens and good conditions. The carts has a GPS system so that's a bonus. While there's water on the course, the landing areas are generous so unless you're really errant, you'll be OK. Even the over water Par 3's have bail out areas except for the TPC Stadium Course #17 replica (which is also #17 at Eagle Eye). All carry with no bail out.

While the greens on the putting green was around 10.5 on the Stimp by my calculation, on the course the putts rolled out more so be aware of that.

The only complaint I had was the pace of play. The front nine moved along really well, but on #10, the foursome in front of us were on the putting green which is close to the #10 tee, waiting to tee off. For some reason the back nine was really backed up. Not sure if they let a few 9 holers tee off on #10, but it was brutal. Lovely course though. I will definitely go back. Look for the deals because full price is around $100. Go for the "Hot Deals" :-)
