A very interesting and challenging layout. Quite a bit of water but usually with ways to get around it. Course conditions were very good, although the pro said they were only "80% to where they want to be by NOV 1. All of the staff were very friendly. I would rate tis as one of the best values in the area!
You will notice that I rate myself as an advanced golfer but with a 15-19 handicap. That's because I played to a 2-6 handicap for 50+ years but rarely ever play anymore due to back pain!!!

Very challenging and interesting course but still very playable for the average amateur. The Pro and his staff are extremely welcoming..

I had not played this course for many years and it is still one of my favorites! As I have gotten shorter with every club it has also gotten more difficult! There was a tournament that teed off right in front of us which slowed things down a bit and the course was wet from days of rain. It was cart path only for almost every hole on the front nine and while putting out on 9 the next thunder and lightning show hit.. Had to quit. Lookj forward to going back on a dry course and dry day.

the course has a beautiful layout and is very well maintained. It played very log due to extremely humid conditions anda lot of recent rain.

Very nice layout and the pace of play was fine. Even though the course had a lot of rain in recent days and after we played, it still was veey playable. We probably never got used to the slower greens which cost us a few strokes, but they were still fine despite a recent aeration. Would enjoy playing again!

I've played this course well over 500 times in 50 years. The current layout dating back about 30 years is very nice and usually the course is in very god to excellent condition. This time we found many greens with tufts of spikey grass all over them, making putting simply a game of luck. Something to do with transitioning the grass?? Even if that is the case, mowing them more frequently would remove the problem to a great extent.

Once you get on the course things improve. Greens are firm and roll nicely. Overall condition is very good. Love the little golf museum in the clubhouse! Employees are very friendly…but $2.15 for a small package of peanut butter crackers is pretty ridiculous out side of Trump anywhere.

Arriving at the clubhouse the parking lot was pretty empty and the building and parking area looked in serious need of TLC!! But once inside we found a great little golf museum and friendly people. The course was not bright green as is often the way in the U.S.A., but the fairways were well mowed and the greens we smooth and FAST! Not a good idea to get above the hole unless you have a light touch! VERY nice layout which was moderately challenging for me but had some long holes for the ladies. They could use a little more "play it forward" on some of their tee boxes. All in all a VERY enjoyable day and look forward to returning!

This may be the last course Donald Ross designed---at least e did it in the year he passed away. The routing is interesting but the greens are where the real test happens. Betterhave a good short game, stay below the hole and have a good touch with the putter.

A great day for golf. Greens rolled beautifully---just need some cooperation from other golfers in repairing their ball marks!!

Hot, humid, rain. All made playing difficult, but the course was in very nice condition, especially the greens Everyone at the course made us feel very welcome!

Very enjoyable course. Greens had lots of undulations Fun to play and putt.

I booked a single tee time for my wife and I came along to ride with her since I have a torn biceps tendon and cannot swing a club. We drove 45 minutes to get to the course and encountered heavy rain the last 10 minutes. I went into the pro shop to check in in case the weather improved and told the guy at the counter that only my wife was playing and what my situation was. I mentioned that I was planning to go with her ( a mistake as I found out too late!). He told me that was fine as long as I payed another $20 (to cover their insurance he said!). I said never mind, I would just walk and he then said waliking was not allowed! He had a negative answer for everything. So given the iffy weather situation and their snotty attitude I told him we were cancelling. and left. Gofnow was EXCELLENT about doing a cancellation for me when I called and told them what had happened. Thank you!!!

Very hilly but lots of downhill holes. Fairways were thick and slightly soft so there was
NO roll, making the course play several hundred yards longer than the card.

I played with a gent probably my age (72) and his big adult son. Had a very good time. It was a little slow--appeared there may have been a ladies event ahead of us---but still only 4:10 for 18. Course is cut through trees so you can't spray it a lot and a fair amount of water as well.so the 6180 from the back tees is still a good test for those who drive it 200-210.. Approaches to greens were pretty damp so I had 6-7 shots to front pins hit just feet from green and plug or stop dead. Greens rolled nicely but were much slower than they appeared. Will recommend!!

Nice but somewhat quirky layout. Needs 3-4 more directional signs to get from hole to hole. Holes are interesting and well designed but course condition is very spotty---lots of bare spots on greens, greens extremely slow, not sure what kind of grass is on the fairways, but it is pretty thin. Hit my best drive on a dogleg left over some hign bushes then found more bushes and rough hidden beyond which ate my ball. Don't like hidden hazards!! I'll say give it a try at $14.
