Cypress Course at Stonegate Golf Club

We have been here for the months of February and March. The condition of the course yesterday was the best since we arrived. The grass is starting to grow and the greens were the best. Your staff both in the pro shop and at the bag drop are special and especially Ronda. Not sure if we are coming back next year but if we do we will come back to Stonegate. My wife is 80 and I'm 87 and we really enjoy still being able to get our and playing. Our handicaps have inclreased with our age.

Played On 03/11/2024Front nine the pace of play was perfect. When we went to the back nine a different group was in front of us and the pace of play was very very slow. Evidently a couple groups stop for lunch or somenthing and whatever happened I think they all got tired.

We were behind a foursome playinga two person scramble and waited on every shot. I appeared they took several ? Mulligans tee off at 220 and played 17 in the dark and skipped 18.
I have to say the course is in better shape this week then it was a couple weeks ago. The greens are very nice.

Needs some tender loving care. My guess the drought has something to do with the condition but lots of water would help.
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Front nine was very wet. Cart path only on most holes. All seniors playing 2 men and 2 women. Greens are in very good condition. We are used to playing on fairways with more grass therefore was difficult for us. Because of the wet conditions we wwere getting no roll and most greens for us were unreachable in regulation. Back nine was not as wt and we were able to play 90 degrees. Helpful for 70 plus golfers. We had a great time the weather was much warmer than forcasted. I would recommend a friend to go.

Nice layout, being from the Midwest not used to tight fairways but did like the extra roll becauseof that. Like the contour of the greens. It was a fun day.
