We play Crane Lakes with at least some regularity and it's always excellent. It's as well kept as course you want to go to and the staff is always friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong by playing Crane Lakes.

Our group has played Spruce Creek many times over the years and always enjoy the experience. This time they had aerated (which we knew about) which is the ONLY reason I gave only 4 stars on the "COURSE CONDITION" because it's always very nice. There are a lot of interesting and fun holes. The staff is always friendly and an added bonus, IMO, is the airport that the course is built around. During your round you may see vintage aircraft, aerobatic planes, home builts, private aircraft, corporate jets, helicopters, nearly everything but commercial jets. It really adds to the experience for me.

Spruce Creek is always a great place to play. Price was a bit lower this time because they had aerated. Many places do not do that. The course is always well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The course is in an upscale development and an added bonus is the airport that it's built around. You can see small planes, corporate jets, vintage aircraft, home builts, aerobatic planes, nearly everything except commercial aircraft and it can add to the enjoyable experience of playing there. Highly recommended.

Our group has played Venetian Bay several times recently and always enjoy it. New management is doing some work otherwise I'd have rated the conditions excellent. There are many interesting and fun to play holes and it's a very scenic course. Fairways are quite wide (IMO) which is good for us average players. The pro shop staff, course workers and restaurant workers are all very pleasant and friendly. Most definitely worth playing.
