Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 03/09/2023Conditions are not what they used to be, rude staff
I must start by saying this was a $100 round, this is a $50 course at best, greens are bumpy, bunkers are not properly edged, however, the worst part was the starters, we were a threesome and brought my father along, the starter said “he better not be playing or we are kicking you out” assuming we were sneaking someone in without paying, my father can’t even swing now and was in town for Players week, I do not recommend this course at all, much better options around.

The course is in horrible shape, being located where it is, it’s a disgrace that it’s in such a bad shape, the bunkers were like concrete, there was weed all over the tee boxes, fairways and greens... greens are horrible overall very bumpy
Hyde Park Golf Club

Beautiful historic course, wide fairways, conditions are fair however greens are very tough, you won’t see a single divot on them because of how hard they are, I hit a lot of fairways only to have the ball not stop but roll over behind the green, also greens are very small, so if you have an impecable short game you should do well, be mindful the greens are extra bouncy here. I paid almost $40, not worth $40, I would be ok with anything under $30 for this course.
Thank you for the great, honest feedback on Hyde Park! We apologize about the greens but we are working to correct the major issues with the greens, including the lack of divots. We hope you give us another chance over the summer to see the improvements and to earn your fifth star!

I liked the course in general, greens are in good condition, some greens have bare spots but overall they are in good condition considering the recent drought. It was extremely annoying how they made us wait at the turn because some members were having a tournament, the starter was extremely annoying stopping us from playing, they need to balance out the members' expectations with the service delivered to non member players, these courses do need the money from non members it seems as it is not a priority for management.
Swiss Fairways Golf Course

This course has been through tough times, the new owners are very serviceable and commited to bringing it back to playable condition, great value for the money, the tee time included steaks, they were delicious and their service top notch.
Water skiers are definitely a plus, once this courses grass is back to where it needs to be, this will be my go to course in The Orlando area.
