Winter was not kind to this course. Many greens and fairways were damaged by the winter. Also cart paths need work.

Unfortunately, for the price I paid for this round was way too much considering the shabby nature of the greens and many areas of ground under repair.

No water on the course unlike other area courses.

Once was a course that was maintained. Will not play it again.

The course is physically in great shape. Bunkers, greens and fairways all are in top shape. I just do not understand why the pace of play is slow and the course does not use marshalls. The 4 some in front of us was 1 hole behind the foursome THAT WAS WALKING!

Play this course if you are out with your buddies and want to have a very social time on the course. Play is slow and the marshals drive buy and waive seemingly unaware that the pace is at 5+ hours for the round. The divot sand in the cart bottles is not restocked which you don't realize until you are well into your round. Was able to get a fresh bottle at the turn but had to sort through 10 bottles before I found one.

This is a great tight, wooded track and was in excellent condition. I recommend it but cannot give it 5 stars because of some finer points that need attention. Completing my warm up, I needed to clean my irons. The course provides an iron cleaner but it had no water nor did several of the course ball washers. All else was excellennt.

The winter weather was beautiful on this day and I had not played since November so some of the winter course conditions were not an issue.

The course will need to work hard to recover from the impact of the past extreme Texas winter. Greens have a great deal of Poa Annua and the sand traps were washed out.

I missed the notation that Twin Creeks had sanded and aerated their greens. Some courses provide a notification but I did not see that. I is the reason I rated course conditions as poor.

Overall, the course is well-maintained and personnel excellent. However, they do allow 5-somes which slow the pace of play. No marshalls on the day I played and it was a 5 hour round evern though they advertise "ready golf". The group of 5 slowed the entire course.

Course is in excellent condition considering the local water restrictions. However, you will need to take a drop from the bunkers. They contain a clay-like substance that is a poor substitute for sand.

Course requires careful shot making on several holes sue to narrow fairways. Greens are smooth and ball rolls true.
