The course was in the best shape I have seen it since the early 90’s. Pace of play on the front was awesome no waiting moved along perfectly. Back nine was another story need to figure out how to get folks to stay on track at the turn. Too much waiting and not enough striking on the back side. Lively clubhouse and amenities and the service was great.

What a fantastic golf round with friends. Very busy and were delayed 20min at the 1st tee but once we teed off on 2we never waited or had anyone play up on us the rest of the day. Greens are unbelievable true and challenging. It’s a desert course but the maintenance team has done a great job thinning the shrubbery. I’ll be back again it’s a great time and a great course.

Don’t play the tips...its brutal. Once we moved up a tee box it was very playable. Had the whole course to ourselves (seemed) the pace was great and the greens were ok. The fairways were less than desirable but for the price we weren’t complaining. Great road trip golf with your cigar smokin, music listenin, beer drinkin buddies. We had a ball played 27 holes and plan on making an annual trip up.

What a great “retirement community course” in great shape, greens were consistent, fairways green and the pace was excellent. Challenging par 61 do let this make you apprenhensive it’s a fun course. Will return again probably in the summer...

My friend and I got paired with (2) awesome locals. Dirty Randy and Markey Mark. The course was in great shape the greens were a bit slow due to the morning dew but by noon everything was reading & rolling true. The bevvy girl was great and he timing was perfect. The four of us shot between 85-95 so it was competitive and our pace was great. The Duke is long so even at a good pace we were still 5 hours to complete the round. If you have never played the Duke your missing OUT!

It's my 2nd time every playing this course and I came away even more impressed than the 1st time. Challenging from the Black Tees, used most of the clubs in my bag which is rare. Tee boxes, fairways, traps and greens were in excellent shape. Paired with a gentleman visiting from Poland didn't realize such a great golfer could come from there. I'll be back to enjoy this gem tucked away on the southside.

Played a round with my Son and grouped with a couple retired guys, great guys. Course offers a great practice round with your irons. Greens were surprising challenging. Pace was really good. I will go back when I want an inexpensive practice round. Not bad.

Scored a $26 dollar round for (2) on a Wednesday afternoon. This was a steal for this course. Great lay-out in an awesome part of town. Greens were in good shape. Wide Open finished in under 3 hours. If you see a sweet deal give Adobe a try!

What more can you say about hole #16 this elevated tee box is probably one of the best around. The back 9 at JR is magnificent; challenging holes, beautiful mountainous switch back holes, wildlife and desert creatures all over. The golf is fantastic and the staff helpful. A must Play for everyone!

So I was lucky enough to land 18 holes of wide open fairways, tight bunker surrounded challenging greens, gorgeous Cart Girls and a Steak & Potato dinner for $26.oo....Thanks Golfnow! This is by far the best deal in town.......

The guy at the shop had to double take our $25 "Hot Deal". Great pace and challenging course. Not as pristine as 10 years ago but still is good shape. The houses around the course have really gone downhill potential to be Gilbert's version of Shalimar in the near future. Would play again for $25 wouldn't pay more than $40.

Groups were spaced very well. No rushing or waiting! Lots of rolling hills and challenging greens. Excellent value $25.00 with cart. Clubhouse is top notch and priced frugally. Will play this hidden gem again soon!

For the money one of the best I've played in the East Valley. Plays very fast, greens are in great shape & some really challenging putts. Close to work and I think my co-workers and I have found our 4-6:30pm summer course!
