Glen Ivy Golf Club
Played On 07/27/2021Worst green and fairway.
Greens and fairways are in bad shape. I mean really bad. Especially, the greens have worst condition. A lot of damages and bare spots are noticeable on most of greens. Do not expect to have a good putting on these greens. It is not worth of playing here if you pay $70 per person. I'm very disappointed about the condition of greens and fairways.

Played On 09/13/2020Green is too damped
I played at 2:30 PM on Sunday. Green was too damped and soft. The ball was stuck deeply into the green when I hit the iron shot.
Whittier Narrows Golf Course - Pine/Mountain
Played On 10/01/2017Unfriendly Staff and Running Out of Cart Battery
I've played there with my wife in the afternoon of Sunday. However, the cart was running out of battery at back nine, hole 5. We couldn't play after the cart was running out of battery and walked back to the pro-shop without playing. However, the staff in the pro-shop didn't seem to bother and all he said was I should have called the pro-shop. I've never experienced the cart running out of the battery in the middle of the golf course. So, I didn't know what to do. The staff was very unfriendly and didn't seem feel sorry for us. It was really bad experience with unprofessional and unfriendly staff in the pro-shop. I do not recommend this course to anyone. Unfriendly staff has ruined my wife's and my experience at Whittier Narrow Golf Course. The condition of fairway wasn't good either.
Not surprised to read your comments. It is not just Whittier Narrows but every American Golf Cooperation managed course. I spoke with their regional manager, Kyle Mitchell, regarding to some issues too. But rather to apologize for the inconvenience that his staff has caused me, he turned around and pointed out my fault to dilute and justify their actions and unprofessionlism.
Vellano Country Club
Played On 08/28/2013Most fairways were narrow and have some slope. Green was very slow. I had to walk some distance between the most of greens and cart path.
I think overall condition of course is just average, but the green was way to slow. I wouldn't recommend my friend to play this course on hot summer days. You need to walk some distance between the most of greens and cart path. There was no ball washer at all and the cart was outdated without GPS. The course does not have a noticeable distance mark or post.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future. Thanks for choosing Marshall Canyon Golf Club.
