The staff was friendly & range balls were included in the price which is great, but we would not pay the regular rate to play this course. Most tee boxes, fairways & greens were in poor shape. The fairways are not overseeded. I would compare this course equal to a typical muni course. Although they let us drive to our ball, there were several holes on the back 9 that were very wet. There are better courses on HHI that are available to play.

Staff on the course were great. The starter really watched pace of play & talked with a couple of golfers who were late getting started on the tee, which was good thing. The course is very flat & difficult to determine where the fairway was off the tee largely because of how it was mowed. We lost several balls in the rough. The creek running through the course was nice and did present a hazard on several holes.

This was the 3rd time playing the course in the last 2 weeks. Fairways were still in good shape and the greens above average when comparing with other area courses. However there is a few holes where they are taking down a lot of trees which causes some disruptions. Also the edges of the greens need maintenance.

First time playing the course this year. Staff were great to work with. They were very conscious about timing golfers to keep pace of play moving. This was the first course where range balls were included with the green fees. However the course was disappointing. They sprayed the fairways with some type of green chemical that actually stained golf balls. Fairway grass was scarce and the greens were not in good shape. This course was in the worst shape of any of the courses we played in the HHI area.

The course fairways were the best we played on HHI so far, which includes Palmetto Dunes courses where the greens fees are much higher. Pace of play was good and staff friendly. We will play again before leaving HHI.

We play National almost every year and have always enjoyed the layout and condition of the course. However the condition of the course was not good this time. It was not worth the green fees charged even with the GolfNow special deal. There was evidence of a lot of sod laid in various areas on the course and fairways were in rough condition. There was construction on the course. Pro shop staff were friendly and efficient.

First time playing this course. It was a typical Ozark course with lots of hills, making it fairly challenging. Course conditions were not up to our standards for the price of the green fees. Several tee boxes were in need of mowing and weeding. Some fairways were in poor shape and sand bunkers were not in as good of shape as other courses in the area charging considerably less.. Staff was friendly and the marshal was making efforts to improve the pace of play. However, our round was still almost five hours. Green fees were high considering there was no one to help with unloading or loading our clubs. Most high end courses we have played around the US would at least provide this service.

The course is definitely an Ozark course with a lot of elevation and rolling hills. Some holes seemed gimmicky. Many of the forward tee boxes needed weeding and mowing. Pace was slow partly because of the rolling hills. Probably wouldn’t play again.

Poor designed course. Greens were in poor shape some had tufts of grass on the fringes. Pace of play slow. Some fairways were like a pasture course. Will not play again..

We have played this course several times and have always enjoyed the layout. Fairways are in decent shape for this time of year and greens run pretty slow. However several tee boxes are pretty bare and sandy. The last two times we have experienced very slow play. The course doesn't have a Marshal monitoring play. A Marshal would help alleviate the situation. Very disappointed that it was easily over a 4 1/2 hour round of golf.

The course was busy but the pace of play was the worst that we have experienced in the area. A group of 4 men in front of us played so slow that there were always open holes ahead of them. A few tee boxes had more than one group behind the group of men waiting to play the next hole., thus resulting in close to a 5 hour round. The staff member who checked us in said the course was in the best shape he had seen in several years but we found the fairways to be pretty bare and the greens were in pretty rough shape. Very disappointed.

We have played this course several times in the past but have never experienced such slow play. A few times there were as many as 4 groups on one hole. We never saw a Marshall driving around and monitoring play. We started at 12>30 pm but I would imagine some groups behind us were not able to finish before the sun went down. :The course is a decent course and greens are good but a little slow. It would really help overall play if they would Marshall the course.

We have played this course several times in the past several years and have enjoyed it each time. Greens are in great shape. We gave it a 4 star because several of the ladies tee boxes were pretty sandy and some fairways were a little thin on grass. This could be due to it being off season. Pace of play was great! We would recommend this course.

Upon check in there was confusion on the Club Key Pass charge. It took two people to figure out what the charge, would be, which was higher than the rate quoted on the website. It was a beautiful day so the course was packed. Pace of play was extremely slow. We were a twosome but waited on every hole. In fact the twosome behind us ended up quitting after hole 16. It is off season but the fairways were pretty rough and some bunkers were in rough shape. We were very disappointed and will not return.

This was our first time playing this course. Fairways were bare and very wet, even though other courses nearby that we played didn't seem to be wet..

Course greens were in good shape for the time of year we played. Fairways were brown but playable. We have played HH National several times and have found the course in good shape. The only issue we had was that we were charged more than what GolfNow has stated would be due at the course. This is the second time this week that GolfNow costs did not match what the course charges.

We have played the course several times over the years. Pace of play was great because of the time of year and the course was in good shape for Feb. We plan to play it again during our stay at HHI.

We played this course several years ago. We thought we’d play it again. Several holes on the course were a very odd layout. You weren’t sure where to hit or where the green was. Several shots over a marshy area. Greens didn’t roll very well. Will not play it again.

We were told the greens were new. They didn’t roll as well as they last time we played. Overall course conditions were decent. Would play the course again.
