A typical WV public course built on a hillside. Lots of short holes, lots of sidehill lies, lots of good shots bouncing into bad places. The course is typically cut high in the spring (think lost balls and putts left short) but for the past two months has been in better- than-average shape. Cheap fall rates and a friendly staff make it a worthwhile outing in an area starved for good courses.

This is a country club with some limited opportunities for the public to play. The layout is very good with numerous tee boxes to adjust the length. The nines are unbalanced but it evens out well with a nice variety over 18 holes. It is maintained in very good condition including some of the nicest greens around. A driving range, chipping green, and putting green allow any needed practice. If you can get on, this is a nice course to play.
