I play Packsaddle once or twice a year when I'm visiting family. It's a challenging course, tight in most places, no flat greens. A good score there is a great round.

Course condition this year was as good as I've seen it. Tee boxes were fine, they aren't bent grass. Greens were excellent, maybe a touch slow. The fairways were in good condition with just a little clover (and that's a nit). The only minor issue was one or two of the bunkers were a little thin on sand.

I played on a Monday, 18 before lunch, there were a couple twosomes on the course, 5 cars in the parking lot. A hidden gem I guess. A great place to play, a test of golf, with some awesome views of the valley
