Showed up as a single. Two seniors and one middle aged invited me to play with them. Fun group. Two 80s shooters and two 90s shooters. .Fun 3.5 hour round. We played the senior tees which required some course knowledge on some short, challenging par 4s. Conditions were acceptable with quick greens. Light rough was very playable. Good deal for the price.

This is a really good course. I used golfnow and got a great deal. HOWEVER...there needs to be some way of identifying courses that are cart path only.. I have serious health issues and this course was water logged. It even made the walking AND ballstriking difficult. I had to drive 40 miles and didn't enjoy it. The ball plugged a lot.

Everything was good except
1. Range is closed on Wednesday mornings.
2. T boxes were a little long.

Just an all-out great destination. The only disappointment Wes not being informed in advance that the greens had been airiated . Weren't terrible but missed a lot of putts because of it.

Had to drive 65 miles. Nice hill country scenery. Beautiful layout in very good condition. Greens were challenging and smooth. Could have been a little quicker but held a shot very well.

I have no negative comments. T boxes, fairways, greens(a little slow but everywhere is right now)
Staff was great.

I had to drive about 50 miles to play here. Between hurricanes ,drought and fires the area has had its problems. However conditions were better than expected. Lots of t boxes allow each player to pick a comfortable distance. Picturesque layout. I only had to issues. Many t boxes were very unlevel but most of all.the greens were ridiculously SLOW ! they held a shot but were close to being unputtable.

Really liked the design. Conditions were playable but not what I would call good. Fairways were mostly weeds not cut very short. The groom's were slow smooth with very small spots of some kind of weed. The ball rolled ok with an occasional bump. Staff was very friendly and actually got me off a little sooner than my scheduled time. Had fun.

I liked the course design. The variety of t boxes allows players of all abilities to enjoy their round. The issues are with conditions. T boxes could use some grass but some greens are UNPLAYABLE. I like fast greens but when you combine fast with slope it is unfair. Even the PGA has addressed this issue. Some greens...if you get above or to the side of the hole you can't stop the ball. I tapped a ten foot putt (would have normally gone about a foot)..it rolled 35 feet and off the green. I hit a high 7 iron to about 4 feet. When I got to the green it had rolled off the green to the right about 30 feet away. It wasn't every green but way too many. Will not play again.

Once again I paid good money to play deplorable conditions without warning. 9 holes were closed. Paid for 18 but quit after 9 because the grass was so tall EVERYWHERE !!! Greens were too tall to putt and from the looks of them they are going to be bad AFTER. they start mowing. Even the teeboxes were so long it was difficult to hit a decent shot. A lot of construction was going on and the pro shop was a small canopy with a picnic table and a cash register. I asked if I could get a rain check for th other 9. They just said NO!.

This course (did not play the vineyard)offers great views, plenty of challenge , whatever tee you choose. Conditions were very good. Players should do a better job of repairing ball marks. Greens were quicker that an any place I've been to recently. Great course for the money.

This course has gone through some renovations since I last played it. It is much improved. The fairways were plush. The greens were fast and undulating. The sandtraps were very well kept and very playable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Every group was quick to let me play through.

Beautifully conditioned golf course. Best greens I've played in years. A bit short but I am a senior now so it was fun to hit medium an short irons for a change. After all, that's what the pros do.

No one at the desk when I arrived. Asked an Asian gentleman in the office for help. He acted like I was bothering him but did help. The drought is hitting everyone's fairways hard but there was plenty of grass. The greens were slow but looked and putted good. I was paired with 3 other really great guys and we all played well. It was a fun day on a good golf course with great views.

I have been looking forward to playing this course for years. Toughest greens I've ever tied to read . Loved the fairways. Would not pay walk-on prices to play again.
