I have played the ritz in Orlando before and in each occasion I have found the facilities to Bevin fantastic shape. The greens rolled true and tees and fairways well maintained as well. It's a nice resort layout but choose your tees wisely as if you get out if position off the tee it could be tough to find your ball. Depending on time if year the price may be a bit steep for my liking but you find that at a ritz course. If you can get it below 75 bucks its a good course to play and if you're a local to Orlando it's a different place to play in the area.

I just played this course recently after the Phoenix open and was impressed with the course. We were 1st out and the course was in pristine condition. Greens were smooth and pretty quick and the course was manicured to my expectations of a course that hosts a tour event. This course is playable from any tee you choose. There is room off the tee but if you stray too far you will find desert area. It was a fun course to play but be careful as during the winter the price may be steep. But if the price is right for you it's a place to may when in the Phoenix area.

While I have been to PGA National to play before I had yet to play the Palmer course at this fine resort. While the champion gets most of the publicity as the host of the Honda Classic (and a fantastic course as well) the Palmer was just as much fun to play. It is a true resort course as it is very playable from any set if tees especially off the tee with wide fairways and plenty of room to miss. The greens can be a little challenging which can give even the experienced golfer something to think about. The greens were in perfect shape and had some nice speed to them. Played in under 4 hours as the 3rd group off. Excellent condition as well. In my opinion you need to go to PGA National but not just for the Champion course.

You may find this layout tight off the tees since a lot of property lines come close to course and a lot of out of bounds stakes in play. If you are a straight hitter then you can play well here.. Last 3 holes are good, challenging holes. Conditions are very good with some of the best greens in Orlando. The practice facilities leave a little to be desired but if you have a chance to play Orange Tree I would recommend it.

Thus course is a little out of the way but if you make the drive its worth it. Fairly wide open off the tee but if you spray it too far there is some trouble to find. Greens are big but with plenty of slope to contend with. Lots of elevation changes which you don't see a ton in Orlando. Nice practice facilities and the food after was very good. My only problems with it were too many blind shots and the 9th and 18th holes were a bit stupid where you hit away from the fairways to be in the right spot. Otherwise enjoyed the course because it was different from other Orlando courses.
