The course was in good shape except for number 9 that was being reworked. Missed getting to play the island green. There was a lot of other repair work going on around the course as well as new housing beside it that changed up some of the look and travel between holes. Greens were firm and fast. Fairways were green and clear of weeds. Very nice day to play golf in Houston.

The course is in good condition for the most part. Some bare places on the fairways but the greens and tees are in very good condition. It's hard and fast in the fairways, lots of roll. We like the layout a lot with the open fairways. There is always a good breeze on this side of town.The bar area isn't open yet so you can't get any of that good, free popcorn.

Had an early tee time and played in just over 3 hours. The course was in great condition except for most of the bunkers. The bunkers were either without much sand or under rehab but the rest of the course was in great condition. Greens were hard, fast and true. The fairways and tees were in great condition for the winter.

This was our first time out in a while and the course reflected the difficult weather we’ve had. The greens were bare. We did a 2 putt max because the greens were so rough.
Love the layout of this course. The fairways were nice and hard finally after lots of rain.

Course was in decent condition for the end of February but the pace of play, specifically the unwillingness of slower players to let our group play through, took some of the joy from the round. Waited on every shot for all 18 holes. There was no one in front of the four women for several holes but they would not let our threesome play through. Contacting the clubhouse was frustrating because they just sent a message through the gps system. No marshalls. Won't be going back anytime soon.

We've played this course many times over the past several years and seen it go from a nice course to one in need of repair. It is in great shape now. They did a complete makeover of the #2 fairway and did a fantastic job. The fairways are all in good shape and the greens were smooth and fast. The bunkers even had good sand.
Love the links style layout.

I hadn't played the course for a few years and would have to say that it is in much better condition that it used to be.
However, the greens, which looked nice, were not true. Balls bounced all over the place and rolled very slow.
The halfway house was closed and there was no beverage cart on the course. A few places with water but for a round that started at 10 am we were looking for a Snickers bar.

This is a nice course to play on most days. We played in the afternoon after a morning rain and were the first ones on the course, cart path only. Don't know how much rain they had, but there was standing water in a lot of places, backed up drains on the course and some deep water on the cart path in spots. The asst. pro caught us avoiding the cart path lake by going ten feet onto course, not the fairway, and berated my partner and I as if we had done something life threatening. He screeched his tires, yelled and carried on about our brief foray onto the grass, then proceeded to turn around on the grass to go back to the clubhouse. We did report this to the golf course management who apologized for his actions.
The only other downer to the day was that there was no one in the grill. We had to go twice to the clubhouse for them to roust the grill personnel so we could get a burger and a coke. It was a good burger though.:)

The course was in great condition. Greens are a little slow but the fairways are lush. The only downfall to the course was the painfully slow pace of play and no marshalls to help. One slow foursome backed up at least six groups. Waited on every shot. Personally saw three groups quit before the 18th hole. We took 30 minutes to play the last hole.

Played on a Monday and they were fertilizing the South Course but we got on with a GolfNow purchase so the course wasn't crowded.
Greens were excellent, though a little slow.
Fairways and tees were in good shape, there were a few bare spots on the edges of the rough.
