Not a friendly round and extremely long

From the time we went into the Pro shop and dealt with the attendant behind the desk who was rude to me, to waiting nearly an hour to get our cart to starting 40 minutes late, to the Cart girl who could have cared less if she came around to provide service (hole NR8) and the nearly five and half hour round, Cimarrone did not provide the positive experience that I expected. Lastly, the greens still need a lot of work. Not a great time.

Solid Executive course, first time playng the course

As with most PAR 3/Executive courses, Palm Valley works for those whose games are not at the level to fully enjoy a full length regulation golf course. Fairways and tee boxes are in great condition whereas the greens require attention but this venue worked great for taking out two folks who had never played golf at any level other than at the driving range and putt putt golf. Was an enjoyable experience for all.

Almost got in a fight

Jacksonville Beach is great layout when maintained and challenging with the winds. That being said, the greens were in horrible condition, extremely bumpy and poa-anna growing up in clumps everywhere. We had a group directly ahead of us throughout the round with nobody ahead of them for two holes and it still took 2 and half hours to complete the front nine. Finally a Marshal showed up at 13 to see what the issue was as there was three groups backed up behind us. He let the group ahead us know to speed up. They did, but while we were waiting to hit our approach shots three holes later, that same group looked back and asked why we were pushing them to which one of the singles in our group got upset with them and told them to just play. Pretty tense moment. The group ahead slowed down again (I think just to tick us off) and we finally finished at nearly five hours. Crazy round. Would recommend once they fix the greens.

Good course, tough track

First time at Queens Harbor. Tough track, lots of water and bunkers and the Fairway was a little brown but overall, a pretty good course. Greens were in great condition and with the wind, the course was indeed challenging. The pros shop was cordial and got me out but nothing out of the ordinary. Was glad that I joined up with a threesome who knew the course or it would have been a much tougher day.

Great course for the money although longer than 4.5 hours

From the staff friendliness to the shape of the course, South Hampton has it all. Generous fairways off the tee, fast greens and enough bunkers to get you into trouble, this course lulls you until you go awry and then it can make life difficult in a hurry.

Course is in good shape

The course is in much better shape than just a few weeks ago. The Fairways are dry and not soaked and the greens are not bare anymore and slowly picking up speed.
