I have always been a fan of the Oaks, and I still like to play there. My visit this year from the UK is much earlier than previous years and I have noticed a difference in attitudes. The course has been much busier than if you come a few months later, the welcome can come across as , this is the deal, take it or leave it. The course remains good in my opinion, but I was disappointed somewhat in the atmosphere

This a far better course than the current score shows, it should be over 4 easy. The greens are in good shape and are very true and fast

Course remains in good condition, today’s play was very steady despite it being very busy. The greens speeded as the day went, a great course, I love playing it.

First time I played the course, pro staff were had a cold attitude but starter was brilliant, really very helpful, as a single player he went out of his way to put me with another player. I liked the course and will come back again

A great and challenging golf course with great water hazards along with some very challenging fairways. The downside of the course is the 5 plus hours it can take to play. I played the course four times, the 1st and 3rd time I played was over 5 hrs, 2nd time I came off on the 9th hole as we were over three hours at that stage. The 2nd game on Sunday and that was good at just over 4 hours. Rangers could do more to keep the game running better, but they say they are tied by the manager

The course is in great shape, greens run very true. Lots of blind shots for the first time player. I look forward to playing a second round
