I’ve been lucky enough to play DGC a few times but today was my first time around the south course. What a treat! The greens were a blast and were rolling beautifully. The design is top notch and true to Ross’ original design. The staff and conditioning at both DGC courses is always amazing. If you ever get an invite, don’t insist on the North, both courses are fabulous!

Very classic old school country club. Conditions were perfect from tee to green, great hole designs and green complexes. I played in a tournament here and would love another chance to play it better! Very enjoyable round for what is a flat piece of property.

Battle Creek Country Club wow’ed me. Excellent golden age architecture from Willie Park Jr, great conditions, and just across the street from the lake! All the staff was very welcoming and attentive. If you ever get an invite, jump for joy! If you live in the area, you should seriously consider joining. Definitely a course you can play over and over again and always enjoy it. 17 was my favorite, a beautiful par 4.

Barton Hills is special! Great Ross design on an exceptional rolling property. Very mature but not a tree lined city Country Club, extremely open and links feel. Great hole after great hole. You are very lucky if you get a chance to play here!

This area certainly has a lot of amazing golf, but Hampton Hall deserves to be discussed more than it is. The conditions were perfect, the layout was probably the most forgiving Pete Dye I’ve ever played and the staff and members were all wonderful! If you ever have the chance to play, jump on it. I could play this course every day. Thank you so much to everyone at Hampton Hall for giving me an amazing day!

I was fortunate enough to be able to play at oldfield on a day where the weather was sketchy. I may have had the entire place to myself! The conditions were absolutely perfect and I played in about 2.5 hours. How much better does it get???? The entire place is first class, if you are lucky enough to play here, jump on it. Thank you oldfield.

I cannot speak for the previous reviews, but my morning at Dunes West was wonderful! I was paired up with a local member and a couple others. All were very friendly and welcoming (along with all staff) and the layout and conditions were great. Pace of play was just a little slow at 4:10 but not unreasonable. I do not understand the negative reviews, I would play here again in a heartbeat.

The title says it all! Bella Collina is officially one of my favorite courses ever. The entire experience is amazing, from the drive up to the majestic clubhouse, to the locker rooms that have hot tubs, to the gorgeous course. Most importantly, the golf was incredible. Such a fantastic Faldo layout on a piece of property that has far more elevation change than I have ever seen in Florida before. Very linksy with a ton of sand and great sight lines. After the round I had lunch and then a soak in the hot tub. C’mon, what more could you want. This is a 5 star experience worth every penny. Thank you to the entire staff at BC!

First I would like to compliment the staff - everyone was amazing. I was able to play both courses, and am talking about the Players here. Conditions were excellent tee to green - absolutely beautiful. The front nine is pretty bland, par 4 after par 4, doglegs through homes. The back nine however is truly something special. Here the layout gets very fun with lots more water and sand. I can see why when hosting tournaments they often use 9 from the Stadium course and the back 9 from Players. Bottom line, you are luck if you get the chance to play either course here at TPC Prestancia, but I did prefer the Stadium.

I was lucky enough to play both courses in consecutive days. The staff was all fantastic, I enjoyed talking with everyone in the Pro Shop as well as the starter. All super friendly with a visitor from another club. The conditions were PERFECT! I had played another area country club the day before and was very pleased with the conditions there, but the conditions at TPC were a whole class above. The greens were amazing - perfectly trimmed, smooth, well cared for, fast and rolling true. I loved the variety of the layout and all the holes were beautiful. Bottom line - if you are lucky enough to get the chance to play here, you should jump on it!

I was lucky to get an opportunity to play here and was paired up with an absolutely lovely couple from Virginia. Pace was relatively show, but not painful (4.5 hours). It was very, very windy the day I played so I am sure that slowed down groups ahead of us. I absolutely LOVED the layout of the course! The holes had great rolling topography which is rare for the area, and a very fun mix of doglegs, water and sand. Beautiful views all around of the course and palm trees. I would play again in an instant.

I usually favor Rees Jones designs, but thoroughly enjoyed the Cupp as well. It is a private club so you will need to be invited, but if you ever are you absolutely should go.

You arrive into the amazing community and drive up to the bag drop where you are met by caddies and staff to get you set up. I was introduced to my caddy for the round and then headed inside the gorgeous southern clubhouse. Wonderful people inside here as well as the grille room. I headed out to the range accompanied by my caddy so he could get an idea of how I hit the ball. After sufficient warm up time, we headed off to the first tee of the Palmer nine (played Palmer/Player). What an incredible course - every inch of the property was beautifully maintained. I wanted to take a picture on every hole! Every step of the way the caddy was there to provide helpful information, but not in an overbearing way (exactly suited for my style). Getting the opportunity to play at Champions Retreat is the chance of a lifetime! Thank you so much!

I am a member at another TPC club and had the chance to play here while in the area for work. Wow! The weather was cold, wet and windy so for the good folks in the area, most of them stayed home. I sure am glad that I didn't let that stop me. I really thought I had the course to myself, didn't see anyone. I loved loved loved it! I enjoyed the layout, the conditioning and all of the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Standing on the tees, every hole looks gorgeous and is fun to play. This is a bucket list type of course, if you are ever able to get the chance to play it - you must!

I had been looking forward to playing this course for some time. Was able to get a late afternoon tee time and due to that, pace of play was a little slow. Of course it is a challenging course and the weather that day was cold, wet and windy so that slows everyone down. The layout was unique and fun and the conditions were 4 stars. I would say this falls short of "bucket list" golf, but definitely a great option.

The day I was able to play the back 9 was closed so I played the front 9 twice. Of course I was initially disappointed to hear this, but once I started playing that didn't bother me one bit! I was paired up with 2 members who were both friendly and fun. This is a course where you want to take 2 or 3 pictures on every single hole. So much elevation change and every hole is an adventure. I would love the chance to see the back 9 sometime, but even if I am ever lucky enough to go back, I would be delighted to play the front 9 over and over again.

ATTN ClubCorp Members - come and play at Black Bear! What a great experience! Everyone was very nice, the pace of play was very quick, the conditions were excellent and the layout of the course was a blast! Lots of elevated tees as you would expect for the area, but the holes are also well designed and fun. Bunkers ang greens were all in great shape. I played on a weekday evening when the weather was great and I can't fathom why the course wasn't packed with players. This is now my go-to ClubCorp course for the Denver area. Thank you for having me!

I was VERY excited for my chance to play here and Pine Barrens did not disappoint. The bag drop staff, pro shop staff, bar staff and beverage cart staff were all so friendly and welcoming! I was a single and paired up with a 3some of gents who were a lot of fun to play with. I loved the layout with the bunkers and pine straw snaking through the pine trees. Very visually appealing and playable. The only slight knock is that the greens were a little slow and shaggy. Not sure if they were growing them out on purpose at this time because all the other conditions were great. it was the only non 5 star rating I gave it. Don't let that scare you in any way, just being honest and thorough. I want to play here again ASAP.
