Played On 02/28/2022Worst Bunkers in USA
The course has a lot of interesting holes which could make for a fun round. Unfortunately for this time of year in Arizona the course is in very bad shape.
Too many ares of nothing but dirt. The bunkers are the worst I have ever seen. They should be extremely embarrassed to let the bunkers get into this shape. There does not appear to be anything that they are doing to fix the problem and we are in the height of the season in Arizona.

The course has two distinct nines both though are very interesting. The back nine is built in a quarry with some very challenging shots. Very fun to play.

Ocotillo Golf Club - White/Gold
Played On 07/04/2018Gold Course is in Poor Condition
The gold course was in such poor shape that two players in my foursome quit after 3 holes. There was very little grass in the fairways and very wet.
The white course was better but still nothing to rave about.
I know it is in July but it compares very unfavorably to other courses in the area.
