Decent Muni

Good course for a beginner or struggling player as it is wide open with only a couple of ball eating holes. For a muni, it is not a bad course fairways are on the hard side but maintained, the rough is manageable, most of the greens are in good shape, and typical muni hard pan sand traps. If you are a walker the course is very walkable with only three holes having a somewhat extended walk between green and tee. The clubhouse is basic with only snack food, so don't come hungry. Overall, an easygoing course for those who are not persnickety.

Decent track

Decent public course with good greens and average fairways. The front nine is fairly easy, the back nine brings about some challenges. It is easy to see that this is a popular course, as on literally the hottest day of this year it had steady play on an early weekday afternoon. Whereas on most tracks, in such conditions, the course would be empty. I can imagine it being very crowded on a 75 degree weekend day.

For first time visitors pay attention to where you are going, it is easy to end up on the wrong tee. There are no tee number markings and sometimes the next tee does not follow the logical path. Look for the white in-ground direction markers throughout the course to stay on path. Even then you may have to get close to them to see exactly where the arrow is pointing. A good course if you live nearby or trying a new spot.
