Indian Canyons Golf Resort - North Course
Played On 01/16/2018An older course but worth a visit
The north course is the older of the two and does show its age in some areas. The clubhouse is a bit rundown as are the facilities on course. This also means that the green fees are generally less than the south course. The staff are great. The starter was one of the best I have encountered at getting everyone organized and away. The course itself is excellent in almost all respects. The decision to drain most of the water hazards was not necessarily a bad one, but the resulting waste areas do require some care and attention.
Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 01/14/2018I'll be back
A very good golf experience. Friendly and helpful staff and a fine golf course at this time. Lush fairways and fast greens. Well cared for teeboxes. Water in play on occasion. Lots of bunkers, some with pretty firm sand-like material. Evidence of some inconsiderate golfers with numerous ball marks on some greens. Great fun and value, if the wind isn't blowing
Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Played On 01/12/2018Challenging but worth the effort
Water and sand present their challenges on this course, but not so much to frighten you off. The course is in pretty good shape after recent rain; one front nine fairway had an unusual amount of litter on it and one water hazard on the back presented the added interest of dead and rotting fish. Somebody deal with that please. The back nine is the more difficult and play slows a bit, but it's also the more interesting and attractive nine.
Sandpiper Golf and Country Club
Played On 9/13/2013Interesting and challenging
Course starts out rather blandly, but gets better with more interesting holes, more mature trees and plenty of challenging water and sand.
