Challenging, enjoyable, just SOLID!

Solid track. My second time playing, great conditions - first time seeing the back 9 though.

Great variety of holes, especially on the 4s and 5s. Par 3s are what they are - similar shots / distances on each. Could use more variety.

It’s a tale of two 9s - front 9 is tight, tree lined, and has great variety of elevation changes. Accuracy off the tee is important - less than driver is the right play on much of the front 9.

Back 9 is more open and more forgiving on most holes off the tee. One tight tee shot one the back that I can remember at the back of the property. The greens on the back 9 are more well protected than the front. Tougher to get it close to the hole on your approach. Get the right number, and make sure you miss is in the right spot.

Solid track, pace of play is great, conditions are solid. An enjoyable round overall. Will be back!

Very Solid Track, Challenging! Put it on your list!

Awesome course, awesome layout. Really great layout.

Conditions I would say are slightly above average - everywhere I’ve gone this year with Bermuda grass seems to be having a tough time during this transition from spring to the summer months - no exception here.

Greens are solid.

It’s a place you’ll want to play a few times before you feel as though you have a handle on it. I’ll certainly be back for a second visit just to see what I can do with a little more knowledge of the course.

Only complaint - for the price of a round, range balls should be included. Already paying $85+ for a round of golf, no one wants to pay that much and then be nickel and dimed over a small bucket of balls. I get it though, the range doesn’t take care of itself.

Left after 9 - pace of play - place has tons a potential

Wife and I drove over from Fairfax... This place is no doubt a hidden gem but, conditions were less than ideal due to recent rain and I’m guessing how close to sea level the course is. It’s right on the water.. very saturated, balls were plugging in the fairways every shot.

The layout is top notch - really they have something special, I’d need to come back on an early summer day 1st group out. After two weeks of no rain.

No Marshalls checking on pace - 2.5 hours to finish the front - I left and didn’t bother asking for a rain check. Two groups in front of us were early 20 something college bros making a total mockery of the game with no regard for anyone else on the course.

This place has truckloads of potential to be something really special. Going to give it another shot next summer.

Great idea - VERY poor execution given the price point

For $100 a round weekend Tee time... this place should be in far, FAR better shape. My local muni that costs $40 is in better shape, by a country mile. And this was post 2 month break from golf covid condition ??? When you have the most time with no play to get this place in primo condition?? Wonder what this place looks like on Labor Day weekend.

Don’t waste your money on this place - seriously, don’t do it. It’s a total money grab and marketing gimmick !!! They know it’s crap - so they make the greens extremely fast, but they are looking fairly unhealthy..

Cold Molasses on a Hot Summer Day

My wife and I arrived 1 hour prior to the Tee Time of 3pm. I'm starting to think it is a requirement to be an old grumpy man to work in the clubhouse of many golf courses because he glared at me for arriving one hour early, assuming I wanted to get out early, I had planned on getting some warm-up time in only to find that there is NO DRIVING RANGE despite what Golf Now states. Then he appeared to be annoyed that my wife was going to be riding along with me while I played. Making a point that it was going to cost more because she is riding along with - like I was going to take her back home or something.. just very, very rude.

So 1 hour of chipping and putting proved to be worth it - 26 putts for the round.. the practice green is nice.

The pace of play - holy moly!! there were FOUR GROUPS TO A HOLE through the back 9. The group in front of us was hitting 75 yards at a time.. all four of them... for their entire round. Each of them driving to each others ball and watching them hit - dropping multiple balls. No consideration for the three groups behind them waiting at the tee box.

ZERO marshalls driving around the course to improve the pace of play.. it was absolutely horrendous.

I will not be playing here again. Overall just a bad experience.
