Played 3 times at Greenfields. First time there had been a lot of rain in the area so kept to paths and higher ground. 2nd game was a few days later and no rain so course was dry and carts could be used throughout the course. Decent prices to play here too.

Really enjoy Rosedale. Unfortunately severe thunderstorm at 2nd hole which resulted in the course being flooded Just one of those things and won’t stop us playing there again.

First time playing Turriff. Really enjoyed the variety. Some long holes and tricky par 3s. Will definitely play this course again.

We stopped playing this course a few years ago as it was not being maintained but decided in October 2016 to give it another try. The course was in good shape then. This year standards have really dropped. It was very difficult to find balls on the fairway so when the ball landed in the 'first cut'!! there was no chance of finding it as the grass was so long. Bunkers had no sand whatsoever only very hard ground. Greens were a disgrace. Unfortunately on the 4th we were caught in a severe thunderstorm and as the course was empty, decided to shelter in the buggy under a tree for 30 mins. We then managed a further 2 holes finally giving up due to another thunderstorm. When we returned the golf buggy we spoke to the attendant in the pro shop advising him that all teeing areas were completely flooded and questioned whether the course should be closed for safety and that we were surprised that no one came round telling players to come in but his response was that he had no staff!!!. He said that maybe if the rain stopped it would be playable in a couple of hours! To be honest, even if we had been offered another game we would have declined as the course is a disgrace. Won't be back!
