Note that I played the front 9. I have played this course several times in the past before CoViD, but likely due to the lack of rain they have had to let some fairways go dormant. Even a perfect drive (e.g. 7 and 9) can end up on it and it is a tough lie. This course has always had challenging raised greens under normal conditions, but if you just miss it, or roll through the green the ball will roll extra far down on the brown grass potentially into vegetation or water.
It is a good course for nature. I have seen armadillos and tortoises (3 this time), but also hundreds of grasshoppers looking for the rare green grass.

Efficient check in/out processes. Course is in very good condition. GPS in cart is nice. Most interesting hole is 13. My only annoyance was getting constantly nagged on the cart screen about being behind by 14 minutes or so when we had no gap in front of us for at least 4 groups and we had to wait 2-5 minutes every hole. How could we go faster?. The program should look at the data for all carts and alert the real culprits.

I understand that this time of year there are soft wet spots on the fairways - so it is cart path only. On EVERY hole! It is enforced by GPS, cart alerts and cut off - also understandable. But the distance from the path to some balls was 70 yards (even in the fairway) or more! Sometimes over fescue. GPS distance to hole was therefore unavailable. Take a push cart, it is a shorter walk. Pace of play slowness was due to back and fourth to/from cart.

Interesting course. Not a lot of lakes or forests to contend with, but a long course - so it challenges the accuracy of your approach shots with longer clubs In nice condition for the price - even after Irma.
