If you're learning and don't want to spend much, it offers you okay practice time, but if you're expectations are anything beyond that, you will be very disappointed. Tee boxes bad, fairways bad, carts bad, greens okay, rough..weedy and rough. Guy at check in counter was friendly. Older players pretend noone else on course matters and others that like to pop around to different holes trying to avoid waiting for anyone. It's a $20, 4-5 hr range session, hitting from the beat up turf in front of the artificial mat.

We booked Eagle Creek on the last day of our golf trip and despite the stiff winds and cart path only restrictions, the round provided a happy ending to an overall enjoyable vacation. Driving range was closed due to previous night rain and course was a little wet, causing us to use cart path only, but the greens and fairways were in great condition and I imagine it might have something to do with their conservative rules after rain. I look forward to playing again on my next trip to Orlando. Not golf related, the burgers in the restaurant overlooking the 18th green were delicious!

While down in Orlando for a 4 day golf trip we took the opportunity to try out the new Champions Gate Country Course. As others have already mentioned the course is still very raw, no clubhouse or parking lot and CC information is written down using carbon paper. The wind was blowing hard this day and eventually rain caught us on the 16th, but it wasn't enough to ruin the round for my group. Once the development is finished and the landscaping is complete this course will be beautiful. The tee box, fairways and greens were all in great shape, as they should be with the course only opening a month prior. The water hazards were still being constructed on a number of holes but surprisingly didn't appear to be an issue (there might be something to that psychological aspect of water hazards) on this day. In the future I imagine this course will absolutely demand a green fee in excess of $100, so I was happy we got the chance to play it early at a discount (~$75 w/tax), but will certainly like to play it again in the future if it ends up being open to the public. If I had one complaint, which seemed similar to most FL courses, yardage marking was either non-existent or very difficult to find/see.

I have been to this course on several occasions and have never really had a bad experience. I was expecting the Labor Day crowd to slow down the pace, but this wasn't the case as we completed all 18 under 3:45. Pro Shop guy was pleasant and the golfnow deal golden. Only frustrating design of the course is the extremely high grass that helps line the different holes and splits up the longer fairways. Your not finding anything in that grass, so if your not pinpoint accurate be sure to bring a few extra balls.

Since my first round here I have been back twice. The course is in good shape, the pace has been decent, and best of all I play my best golf here! They have a nice driving range and even a miniature golf course to entertain the kids while you play 9. I will certainly be back again before the season is out, especially if I can book a great GolfNow rate!

VB can sometimes be crowded and the pace get bogged down, but the golf course will not disappoint. I was paired up with another individual on a GolfNow special and we enjoyed the round.

I have played this course more than once and for the most part it offers a good golf experience. My only complaint would be the difficulty in finding balls in the rough, and sometimes the fairway. Grass is a little thick in places but the greens are fairly good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and play again for the right price. I read older reviews about poor golf carts, but it appears that they have since been replaced and the carts I have used were fine.

Enjoyed my round, course in good condition, nothing to really complain about.

This is a nice course with a fairly open front 9 and a tighter back. The transition works nicely if you need a few holes to get your game warmed up.

Freeway is a good open course for beginners/immediate players looking to improve their game. I like the course for the cost with the only noticeable blemish being the golf carts.
